My stretch frame cruiser had Kenda Flame tread 26X2.125 on it and the rear one was worn thin and got a bulge, so I replaced both with these. I think a 26X3 would have been too tight of a fit, but this 2.5 looks nice and fat and fits with a little room to spare. The 65 pound air pressure capacity is good, although I only went to about 50, which is plenty firm enough. When I mounted them, they centered themselves up on the rims very easily. They roll easy for a big tire and are very quiet. I was glad they were shipped in a large box so that the tires were not deformed and the beads weren't bent. Highly recommend.

26X2.5 Maxxis Hookworms. I can't give zero stars because technically this isn't the tires fault and I never got the chance to use them. BUT they are definitely not made for an 80mm fat tire bike rim. I read someone had used these tires on their Sondors eBike, so i purchased these thinking they would fit. But they are NOT suitable for the OE rims at all, they will not hold the bead and will allow the tube to protrude and explode. Not OK.I should have read more (somewhere???) for the max recommended rim width for the Hookwortm tires. Now I have 2 tires I can't use on any bike I own.

I've wanted a bike to run these tires for years.Looking at my 1994 Stumpjumper I realized that bike was right in front of me.They fit fine on the original rims, work with the rim brakes, and just look awesome. The yellow Maxxis tire label even matches the yellow on my seat.I don't do any park riding or urban shredding but I just had to have these bad ass tires for street and city riding. They ride so nice and have traction out the wazoo. Also mounted a lot easier than I anticipated.

I replaced my off-road tires with these on a 49cc motored BMX bike. The rolling resistance is far lower and very noticable. My bike now rolls better and longer, and takes less pedal effort to get it gong. And best of all, I picked up 2mph in my top speed. And even though the Amazon description doesn't mention it, these are inflatable up to 110 psi. And I can verify that at 100 psi, they are still a smooth riding tire. Highly recommended tire!

I have a Phampton Electric MTB that I use nearly everyday to commute to the beach and occasionally go only longer rides throughout the city. I purchased 2 of these tires but decided to only use one of them on the rear wheel. Combined with a Kenda 2.15 on the front, my bike's more balanced on the road and with the added weight of the rear battery, the hookworm provided the extra stability and grip on pavement and dirt I was hoping for.

I use these in Electrathon racing. I like the minimal tread pattern and the moderate price. I field two Electrathon cars all season and occasionally a third. We will completely use up 18 to 24 tires in a season. I have tried several other brands and tread patterns over the past 11 years and the Maxxis Hookworm has held up better than anything else I've found so far, including tires that are much more expensive.

Nice tyre, fitted to my unicycle in order to replace an mtb tyre. I’m riding on tarmac/smoother surfaces at the moment whilst building up my skills so this seemed to fit the requirement . I needed something large enough to marry up with the wide rims I have and this one was recommended on a unicycle website. First impressions are good. Ride is very smooth and hope it will go on to provide many happy miles.

I put these on my 26" mtb and they are great. They grip so nicley the tread goes all the way around the tire and they look awesome. Only issue ive had was that they rubbed a bit in the rear after i motorized my bike. It rubs on the shift kit so i couldnt use it. But not the tirrs fault at all they are great you can roll over anything and not bend any rims. Get them they are sick worth every penny

These tires are top of the list, amazing. The grip on these bad boys are excellent for the street. I ordered these when they were a little cheaper last week. I got a message saying that they were undeliverable. Thinking I would have to pay the new price for them and re-order them had me a little upset, but the seller was great and worked things out for me. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Outperform/outlast any tire I have owned. Surprising amount of grip, surprisingly low drag (measured in wh/mi on my cycle analyst from ebikes.ca) surprisingly long lived. Simply the best tire I have owned. My biggest gripe is that they are a pretty snug fit and you really have to put the stretch on them to get them on and off compared to Innova, Kenda, and (overpriced) Schwalbe Big Apple.

I use these tired for urban riding. I have them on the front and rear. I do street riding such as jumping stairs ledges. I have been using them for about a month now. I have hit stairs dead on and side swiped curbs pretty violently. I run them at 55PSI, had not had a blow out or pinch flat. Highly recommend for street riding.

Came 3 days before expected delivery date and so far these have been great, so easy to swerve with them, they feel smooth and they look amazing on my bike. Definitely getting them for my next bike. Although, they could've been a bit cheaper and they're kinda heavy. I recommend these if you want good quality tyres.

Decent tire I rode them years ago.Little perplexed that they charged me more for the tire than the price tag on the actual tire when I received them.. (I bought 2)also was charged per tire for shipping paid almost the same in price to have them shipped as I paid for them. Total was 120 and some change..

Bought these to replace some well worn Continental Town and Country tires. I've been upsizing my choices for comfort as I ride for exercise. Rode for the first time last night and again this morning. They definitely are heavier but roll nicely. I felt almost as if I were on rails. I would purchase again.

Awesome for a 26" beach cruiser with fenders. I had to adjust the fenders ever so slightly to make sure they fit under them but that's a minor issue. I used the cheap $6 per pair Goodyear tubes that say only go up to 2.125 and they work fine. I was told NOT to try that with a heavy duty tube though.
