I ride a Santa Cruz Blur LTc, and these tires came stock with the XTRAM kit. I swapped out the front for a Maxxis Ardent 2.4 and am very happy with this combo on SoCal trails conditions: mostly dry, rocky, sometimes hard pack, sometimes loose. While the High Roller has more rolling resistance than the Ardent, it excels in climbing traction, hence the rear designation. I am on my 4th High Roller in a year (I ride a lot!)and just received the UST version to see if it works better with my ghetto Stan's conversion. Although the standard version works fine on my WTB non-UST rims, once the tire gets old it doesn't hold the bead as well, and a good rolling 'burp' will ruin the casing. The price on Amazon was comparable to other on-line retailers plus free quick shipping makes the deal. Now just go ride!!

Installed front and back on a 2008 specialized enduro sl. Moved from AZ to WI and the terrain here is much smoother and faster- hence the purchase. These tires kick ass in this environment! VERY Fast rollers, been on some very rocky and rutty -(is that a word?) trails and they didn't give me any issues. Price tag is mean but so far seems worth it. I only have about 35 miles on them, so sorry- this is not a great review for longevity. If you want low roll Resistance and don't appreciate getting washed out in the Corners this is a great selection.Side note--- I did order two of these as one day shipping- only one made it in time. I believe the orders where separated due to warehouse stock.Amazon paid me back for the shipping and all is well.

This is for the 2.35", 60a ProMaxx compound, Kevlar bead. Great, great tire! Using it on the rear wheel. Run at 35PSI. Use a 1.95" tube in them. Has over 200 miles on some super rocky, rooty trails (Northeast) riding very aggressively. About 100 miles on pavement. Really light and very durable, great grip, rolls pretty fast. Just starting to show small signs of wear on a few of the treads. It's kind of amazing how long wearing they are considering how sticky they seem to be. If my bike is happy-so am I. Gonna try one on the front when my WTB 2.4" MutanoRaptor (Also, a fantastic front tire, but knobs are not very aggressive) wears out.

I was curious how well the tires would do on the trails, with the slightly BMX look to them. After riding on them on pavement and dirt, I have the following to say.PROS:Roll extremely fastHook up well on hard pack to mildly loose dirtGood grip when carvingThe even tread distribution makes keeping up on a wheelie a breezeThe small tread gave them lots of clearance on my Stumpjumper even with them being 2.4's.CONS:I have slightly washed out on loose dirt in corners, which wasn't unexpected given the tread depth and lack of large corner lugs.Great tire overall! I've really enjoyed riding on them.

Probably the lightest and fastest tires you can find (I've looked at them all at danscomp) Great for around the city or on dirt. Also, when inflated to ~55-60 psi (fairly high presure makes it a stiff &fast ride), it's pretty hard to get a flat from stuff like broken bottles or pinch flats from jumps or sharp curbs. Definitely the cheapest way to drop a pound in weight. I've bought this tire at dozen or so times and totally love it.

The first day I took the tires out, they saved me from a 50 feet fall into like a valley in the woods on my local trail. These bad boys are fast, and I naturally was hitting the same jumps, but faster. One of my favorite jumps... I landed further than I used to and with my old tires I would have wrecked and slid down into all that pain. But, with these high rollers I just gripped the loose moist soil and kept going. Awesome tires.

I have been out a hand full of times since purchasing this tyre. I replaced my WTB Prowler MX in the rear with the High Roller and it is AWESOME. The large side knobs are awesome in co corners and virtually never let go around a corner. I only broke the back end out once pushing really hard around a corner in greasy muddy conditions. I highly recommend this tyre to anyone who is looking for maximum grip on the trails.

Yes! they are almost silent and ride smooth as eggs. I cant wait to stick em in some mud. This replaced a Maxxis Ignitor on the rear, hopefully now i wont sling dirty ditch water, roadkill, dog doo, mud, or Whatever i'm plowing through all over my CamelBack... However, the HolycrapRoller is a little on the light side and felt very thin (like a Trojan) when i installed it.. I May put one up front also if it wears good.

Amazing replacement to my son's BMX bike. I rebuilt the bike with a fresh coat of paint, handle bar, grips and seat. These tires were the perfect addition. He has used these on the pavement paths and mountain bike dirt and jumps. I will definitely buy these again when it is time. Speaking of that, use wise, it's only been a couple weeks. So longevity is not being reviewed here, just performance out of the box.

Great traction strong cassing as expected from maxxis time will tell how long they last but seem to be holding up better to skids than the stock boys. Somthing to note my manual game took a step back when I 1st got these because of how round they are I couldn't keep it straight but if anything they have made me alot better now when I manual my downhill bike

Ran this tire for 2 years until I damaged the sidewall. I've tried others in it's place but came back to it after not being satisfied. I have not tried the High Roller II yet, but find this is a great all-around tire for the rocky, rooty terrain I ride. It does well in wet and dry conditions and has pretty low rolling resistance for how aggressive it is.

Great tire. Looks cool and my son really likes it. Seems to handle quite well. This tire's tread has held up very well so far, better than the stock tires on his Hotrock 20 and better than a different Maxxis tread design that I purchased previously. Install was no problem. I definitely would purchase this tire again in the future.

Running the 26x2.4 on my full squish giant. Great to know maxxis is still making quality tires. I ride mild hard-pack single track & in town to the bars. Used to run these on my BMX when I was younger as well. If you don’t like these you didn’t do you’re research and bought the wrong tire. I appreciate the fast shipping too.

Maxxis is the king of action sport tires, and these tires are awesome.Bought for my BMX but I cracked the head tube before I installed them.Installed on my buddies BMX and we've ridden tarmac, gravel, dirt, mud, and sand and they worked great on it all.I'm buying them for my 24" BMX replacing the brand new stock tires.

Bought these 26×2.4 tires to replace a set of 2.25, as shown, and am supper satisfied. The tread pattern provides a smooth ride as well as good traction in snowy/icy conditions. These are genuinely perfect tires if you need to commute in a city through all the seasons and nasty weather. Will definitely purchase again.
