The Triceratops is a dinosaur movie favourite, often found battling a T-Rex, but in this Jurassic World series incorporates the modern belief (paleocolour) that dinosaurs had brightly patterned skin. The triceratops in this set has a general tan colour with green pattern down the spine and grey horns and mouth. This lead to an interesting discussion with a dinosaur obsessed 7-year old, used to seeing dull coloured dinosaurs in films and books.Other than the colour though, this is a very nice figure for the price with detailed skin texture and folds of flesh around the joints. Pushing the button on his back makes his head move and one of 3 sounds.

This is an awesome Triceratops action figure that gives an impressive "Roar!" when you push a certain point on it's back which also makes it's head lift up. It's solidly built and comes fully assembled except for the end of the tail which needs to be clipped in place. It comes with 3 x LR44 batteries installed and it has an auto shut-off function to preserve battery life. Please note there's no off button so if this stays in your little ones room, prepare to wake up to the sound of dinosaur roars in the middle of the night!All 4 legs move independently and the hips even swivel outwards. It doesn't have any automatic movement so it's basically just a dinosaur action figure with a voice.

What young person doesn't love Dinosaurs? Our son can't get enough of them and this poor triceratops has been subjected to daily battles with T-Rex. The head bobs around from side to side and up and down. Like all Jurassic World dinos there is a button to press somewhere. This one is on the back and causes the head to lift and 1 of 3 sounds are made.The toy is well made and stands up to the rigours of full scale battle with other dinosaurs. The horns are semi rigid so not likely to cause an injury. The legs all move front to back with the back legs also splaying slightly. The tail (non moveable) needs to be pushed into place and when locked in it stays put.Slightly more expensive than unbranded dinos,

For younger fans of the Jurassic Park/World films, this 'roarivores' Triceratops is sure to be a hit. It's well-made, and feels pretty weighty and solid, and has pose-able limbs (but not tail). There is a button on the Triceratops's back which, when pressed, causes the dinosaur to lift it's head up and roar, though sadly the mouth doesn't open at the same time.It's a bit more interactive than the 'silent' models in the series, so ideal for slightly younger children, but is still relatively basic. Ultimately, though, younger fans of the Jurassic movies are not really going to notice this, and will still be able to get a lot of playtime out of the toy. It also comes with batteries included,

I'm a huge fan of the Jurassic Park series and whilst I've got some of the merch from the original film (go my T-Rex hand puppet) I love the ones from the latest as I like the way that they have articulation alongside having sound effects to help bring them to life.This Triceratops is well made, solid and wonderfully scaled with other dino's in the series which will allow for some interesting scene setting. Whilst this is aimed at the younger market, I can see Dino fans of all ages having a lot of fun with this and when you throw in a whole heap of others in the range will allow you a lot of options in your own scene setting. Great fun.

I bought this and another from a different supplier both of similar qualities apart from colour and this one works on pressing its back the other you move the tail to get the same effect. I think he will get enjoyment from them both. The only disappointment was the box has obviously thrown against some thing as the corner was smashed in with the crease showing the indent of the object it hit. Looks like something like a round bar. the box is light so it looks damaged caused was deliberate. CHANGE YOUR SUPLIER HERMES AS I WAS GOING TO SEND IT BACK DAMAGED GOODS! It arrived before time . You get a fairly standard sized (about 7 inches?) figure of the standard sort of slightly rubbery but hard plastic that these things are always made of. Inside the base is a larger than usual speaker, which makes all manner of distressed noises when you push on the button on the back of the dinosaur, I think it might be in pain. Also when you push the button, the head goes up and down.The joints are articulated but not by much.It looks like it takes AG13 button cells from the cover but I haven't unscrewed it to check; typically these things last forever.Overall it's fairly basic but robust.

First and foremost this is a toy based on the movie franchise, and very well made. Within this context, you have a great introduction to dinosaurs from the movies. It also roars and moves its head which will delight smaller kids. From the historical sidelines then it helps as an introduction to the topic but doesn't provide the longevity or scale to mix with other dino toys and models from other suppliers. If it's a toy you're after then it's perfect but think about the child and if it would fit in with a pre-existing collection.

What child doesn’t love dinosaurs? My nephew is pretty obsessed at the moment and is also a huge fan of the Jurassic Park/World films.This Triceratops is pretty sturdy and strong, so should cope well with lots of tough play. His legs move and there is also a button, which, when pushed, causes him to throw back his head and roar. Of course, you pay a little more for the brand, but this is nicely packaged, and the sound gives it a realistic effect. There are lots to collect, but they are sure to be a hit with any dinosaur fans.

This is a really nice model. Not huge, which is a good thing. Very nicely made and detailed. The action is great; you press a button on its back and the heads lifts and it gives off a roaring sound with foot steps. I think there are three or four different recordings. They are loud enough to please the children without irritating the adults. A great gift for any child that likes dinosaurs (which is think is pretty much every kid these days).

This figure has all the moves and sounds, but for me it lacks a certain charm. I think this is because of the articulated legs which make it look very unreal and ruins the shape of the torso. However, I'm sure youngsters will enjoy playing with it and collecting others in the series. At least there is no risk of swallowing!

This Jurassic Park toy roars when you press the button on it's back and who doesn't love Triceratops? This is the perfect toy for any dinosaur loving kid, and most of them are. It's a good size, quite hefty and well-built so will last. It comes in Jurassic World packaging.

This toy dinosaur roars and lifts it’s head when you press a button on its back.The spikes on its head are a soft plastic so there is no real risk of being hurt by them.My son really enjoys playing with this toy and getting it to roar.

This is a great size toy, much bigger than I’d expected. It is also well-made with great colours and detailed features. It has fun moving parts and sounds. A fun toy for any dinosaur loving child. Limited play value.

My son loves this Triceratops - really like the whole Jurassic World set of toys on offer at the moment. They might be on the higher end of the price scale but are durable, fun and realistic. Highly recommended.
