This is a genuinely lovely plush notebook. It feels so posh that I almost had second thoughts about writing any of my scribbles in it, I wasn't sure my ill-formed thoughts were worthy of such a luxury item... Thankfully I overcame that though and discovered that the paper (100gsm- fairly posh without being over-the-top) is a genuine joy to write on. I'll actually be disappointed when I've filled this book. The titan blue cover is soft and leathery, and the blue is somewhere between navy and purple. Most of the book is lined paper, with a fairly large header section at the top for if you're organised enough to keep all your thoughts on a particular subject on a single page...After that you get 8 easy-to-tear plain pages, and then at the back, a couple of little treats. The pull-off reminder stickers are a very neat idea indeed- I always use Post-It notes for precisely that purpose so to have some ready-provided stickers at the back is a great convenience. Then you get a little pocket at the back, which is a convenient little store that you could put receipts or business cards in. It won't hold very much (maybe about 5mm) before stuffing things in the back page will start to deform the shape of the book, but for a handful of little scraps of paper it's another great idea. The standard retail price on this item puts this out of the realm of everyday shopping lists and 'to do' lists, and into the realm of business note-takers, writers scribbling notes, and other people for whom writing things down is of high importance. Apart from perhaps on the price, I can't fault it.Yes you could get a notebook for a fraction of this price, but if you have important things to write down, by buying this you will be treating yourself.

There's no question that this A5 notebook is high quality, much more so than supermarket notebooks. The 80 100gsm pages ooze quality and the case is a smooth dark blue material that catches the light. It has an elastic band to close it and a pen loop at the back to hold a pen.Unlike many notebooks, it also has perforated final pages which can be torn out and a ruler at the back, on the last piece of paper. The very back has a paper pocket for storing odd pieces of paper and silver sticky bookmarks to highlight pages. These are interesting additions that I've not come across in a notebook before, but I can see them being useful. The quality is matched by the price, though any review has to take into account the fact that prices can change. The current price is just over £17 for the A5 size and,to be fair, the page quality does mean that the notepad is roughly in that range. This is not, then, a pad to write odd notes that will be discarded next week. This is something for notes you wish to keep and re-visit, or for when you need to make a good impression. As such, the Leitz notepad will certainly do the trick.Maybe a little overpriced, perhaps, but this is a pad for those who want to write important notes and make them look good.

I love Leitz notebooks and this one is no exception. As soon as you remove the cellophane you are met with the silky Titan Blue softcover – almost has a ribbon like feeling to it with the grey elastic to hold it closed but yet still not too tight that you can’t add things to the notebook. There’s the pen holder sewn in so you know it’s secure to fit a BIC or larger pen.The 80 lined pages are thick yet well bound so you can open the pages flat without damaging it or causing them to fall out. There are two ribbon bookmarks and at the back you will find a pocket – no front pocket as the description seems to mention. There are silver page markers (sticky notes) which really come in handy for the important notes. Not the easiest thing to count but I think 18 or 20 in of those in total. I love that there are 8 perforated blank pages at the back and the last page even has a ruler printed on it.Personally I wouldn’t use it for every day use as it wouldn’t last very long but if you know a writer or anyone who loves to keep a diary or notes then this would make a fantastic gift. E.g. this one shall be used for writing ideas which I can keep coming back to rather than something that wouldn’t be needed once filled.

The cover has a really unique feel to it... It's almost soft, and it has the sound when you scratch it (like opening and closing a zip... cmon, you know the sound...)The strap to keep it closed is strong, it doesn't appear to break any time soon. The cover itself seems to be fragile against finger marks and scratches, both of which seem to fade instantly due to the material.I originally bought the product because of the contrasting colours and the unique 2 material place holders, i can see now that the feel, weight, and overall look of it makes it worth the money. The reason i haven't rated it 5 stars is that the book-mark style material place-holders (no idea what they're called)came folded and have rather unsightly creases in them - which ill most likely go away or get worse when closing the book. The paper isn't up to the standard that I wanted, the pages are a slight tint of yellow - this look may be complimentary to other styles of books, but I feel that white pages would have been better.I'll be happy to answer any questions, just ask them above.

This attractive A5 sized hard-covered notebook came in an a eye-catching colour called Titan Blue. It has 80 sheets of ruled paper. The rule on the paper is slightly wider than narrow feint. On the rear outer edge of the book, there is a narrow pen holder, which is elasticated, but will hold a fine pen (like a biro), but not a thick pen.Inside the front cover is a card flap to tuck small papers into. Inside the rear cover, you find an impressive and more durable pocket / pouch to hold some larger items. The hardback book format of the diary will not allow these to be pens and such, as the book will not close fully, but it is very useful nonetheless.I use mine for keeping train tickets in.The last 8 pages are not ruled and are perforated for neat and easy tear-off, without damaging the book and there are 2 sticky note piles on the inside back cover. Another neat touch is the metric rule on the edge of the final rear page of the notebook. It looks very neat, attractive and professional and the price is quite reasonable.

This is a stylish and substantial notebook, which wouldn’t look out of place at the most high-powered of meetings. It’s the first notebook that I’ve seen with two different coloured ribbon page markers, which I find particularly useful. The elastic closure band is sufficiently firm and wide to keep any enclosed paperwork safe and secure in the pocket folders. The two sets of nine sticky note tabs at the back of the book are – like the ribbons – colour coordinated to complement the cover. The elasticated pen holder is firm and flexible, and holds all but the thinnest of pens securely. The paper is – as you would expect with a notebook of this calibre – good quality, and fountain pen ink does not bleed through. The eight pages at the rear of the book are plain paper, perforated near the spine, easily removed, and are ideal for sketches or diagrams. This is a well-designed very posh-looking notebook that most people would be very happy to use. I love it.

In terms of quality then this notebook is certainly up there with the best. The paper feels smooth and firm, the binding seems to be of quality and the cover has a nice feel. There is an elastic loop to hold the book closed and another to hold a writing stick. In the back of the book is a pocket to hold stuff and a few page markers with a colour to match the elastic bindings. The majority of the pages are ruled with a header type line, towards the end there are a few totally blank slides and all of this is preceded by an address page and ended with a page marked as a ruler. If I was to compare this to a Moleskine notebook then I would say that the paper feels equal, the features are slightly better on this book, but the cover is lesser as I would prefer it to be slightly less flexible and I like the way the Moleskine that I have is slightly larger than the pages and therefore offers them some protection.

Leitz make premium stationery. This is one of their notebooks. A very attractive stitched smooth textile hard cover with a silver textile elastic fastener and two textile bookmarks. It also has two silvery lots of post-it type stickies. I think for making page marks(good idea) and a pen holder as well as a little envelope type cubby at the back and front for holding loose documents etc. The majority of the pages are ivory coloured and lined. The last 30 or so pages are perforated and plain so you can tear them off. I think in all respects this is a quality item. It has the feel look and texture of a premium product. I am giving it 4 stars as a top of the range item.I am not giving 5 stars as £17- seems very dear for a notebook. If this review was helpful please click YES

Beautiful, high quality A5 notebook. Cover is bound in a metallic style blue which is smart and stylish. There is a slight texture to the cover material which adds a nice tactile quality. cloth covered rubber band to keep the book together as well as book marks, a pocket at the back for putting in your own loose leaf notes, post it notes and tabs. The paper quality inside is high. I prefer unlined notebooks, which this isn't, but the spacing is generous and all in all it's a lovely, practical item with the equivalent level of finish to a Moleskine notebook which is my preferred choice, but I will certainly look at the other styles that Leitz has to offer now. I love stationery and a new notebook is a real treasure. It's always good to find a new supplier for my fix.

I love this little note book. It's a very nice, contemporary design and well put together. It's twice the size of my current notebook, but this is allowing me to make Mind Maps much easier, something I do all the time and normally have to use my laptop. Now I can do it anywhere without the added weight. The pen hold tab is neat ... no more lost pens ... and secured by a rivet, not just a glued tab. The closure band and page index tab work fine. It has a very nice soft and slightly padded material cover. Pages are nice and white and the paper thick enough to take a pen without showing through the other side, something frustrating about my smaller notebook. All in I am already loving this little notebook and it's adding nicely to my day! Recommended 5***** item.

This is a very high quality notebook which feels like it should last for many years. The cover is very substantial with a nice stitching detail around the edge. The pages are a very light cream, and are smooth and thick. The majority are lined, but there are half a dozen or so plain pages towards the back that are plain. The front leaf has a space for your name and address and the back leaf has a ruler in centimetres. There is a small pocket inside the front cover and an expanding pocket in the rear. There are also a few silver coloured removable sticky page markers included. There is an elastic loop for holding your choice of writing stick and two bookmarks of contrasting colours.Overall thisis an excellent note book which will last for years.

I am a checklist type of person and this suits me well. The quality of the paper is neat and can mange to hold the ink of an ordinary papermate pen without leakage on the back because of too much inking. Fits perfectly in my pocket. I bought this as an 'add on' item, i wish i bought more, it was a great price for £2.76, although i wont buy it on its original price because its too pricey and not practical. I shall place this on my wish list just to wait until Amazon lowers the price again.Just a warning though: The bookmark ribbon is unreliable, mine ended up loose and now its gone. It seems that the glue used on the spine of the book was not enough or not good enough.

This is a great notebook that can be used for something special. I took mine on a recent cruise and used it as a log book/journal and I am going to use it for future holidays, trips and events; to record special times in my life. It has a lovely soft cover which feels slightly padded. It is beautiful thick, creamy lined paper with headers on each page. There is also pockets for keeping documents and several blank pages. The journal/notebook is held closed securely with a thick elasticated material band. This book is high quality and special. You could use it for recording favourite recipes, as a journal or for aproject.I love this notebook and will buy more of them.

This is a very nice tactile notebook. The cover is a silky blue-purple colour, the elastic retaining band is strong and also soft, there are handy features, such as sticky tabs in classy silver, and the pages are a smooth, soft cream, with feint brown lines. Some blokey blokes might think the colours and textures a little difficult to reconcile with a playboy image, and prefer a Hemmingwayesque Moleskine alternative; I'd be happy to embrace the soft. I'm not sure why only some of the pages are perforated, or whether there's much future for this sort of item in a a tablet focussed world, but for now, here's a nice way to use up the last of your real ink.

This notebook is really nice! I love the satin-y feel of the cover and the paper inside feels like it is a really good quality. You also get some nice features with the notebook - it has a ribbon marker and a strap to close it. It also has a pen holder on the side and and wallet compartment at the back to store things. As well as some nice post-it page markers. However, as much as I really do like the notebook I'm not sure it justifies the cost - at the £20 mark I've seen other notebooks I think I'd rather spend that kind of money on.
