I find these brilliant for getting organised at work. I print a Word cover page for each project I'm working on ("project" in GTD terms = 2 or more tasks necessary to accomplish a goal), with the title printed horizontally & vertically so easy to read when upright or on side. Quick notes & updates get scribbled on cover page, other sheets & supporting info are inserted behind in folder, and then it's easy to track and prioritise everything you're working on.Anything that can be deferred gets filed for future months, anything delegated is put in my file for that person, anything current is kept handy & constantly reviewed & progressed. Works well with the David Allen's

I've been using these as sub-folders in box files, but they'd be equally at home on your desk to keep pieces of work separate. The window (made of that kind of not quite completely transparent cellophane that was used for the windows in envelopes years ago) makes it quick and easy to find the right folder, and the assorted colours allow for colour coding or priority marking. Useful rulings on the front for writing relevant action points or 'phone numbers. They're not particularly thick card, but certainly thicker than the Ordo alternative -
