Be warned the Lee 105mm polariser is a large, thin, filter and needs to be handled with care when putting it on the holder. It would be very easy to have an accident with it. Once it is on the filter works like a dream and the quality is simply superb. Yes it is very expensive for a filter but I have managed to use it on a 14mm lens working on a DX camera (21mm full frame) without any vignette being visible in the corners of the image. The resulting image is slightly warmer than it would be from a normal polariser, which is very useful for landscape images. I have used it on the coast and the results are just as pleasing as on the land. It is very well made indeed and I have been unable to find anything to be critical.I find that getting it off the holder can be a bit of an issue sometimes simply because it is so thin and wide that I have difficulty getting my hand around it to get a good grip. Once I achieve that it needs a bit of force to cause it to turn. The screw thread has a very fine tolerance and it is a tight fit.So, if you want the Rolls Royce of polarisers buy this one. You will not be disappointed and with care it should last a lifetime. The results are superb and the image razor sharp (unlike some polarisers I have used in the past). A consistent even coating is what Lee is famous for and they get top marks with this filter. I do a lot of landscape photography and I am very picky about things generally when it comes to images and equipment. I just wish it fitted into the Field Pouch.

I initially was reluctant to get one of these as they are expensive, and they looked a bit of a "faff" to attach and use. I still think it's a bit fiddly to attach the polariser ring (sold separately) to the Lee holder (sold separately), as you have to unscrew the assembly and screw on the ring, which is quite a risk when on location as there is a fair chance you will drop and lose a screw or a plastic divider. So I would say try and attach it before you go out if you think you want to use it.Having said that, once the ring is on and the filter attached, the results are amazing, especially when shooting water,to the point that I think there are very few situations where I wouldn't use it when outside shooting landscapes. The only issue I have is that the edge of the filter ring can be seen when my 16-35mm is wide open at 16mm. But this is a constraint of the Lee 100 filter system with my lens rather than any fault with the filter.Top quality and recommended.

I purchased this after spending some time with a professional landscape photographer and seeing the difference between my Poloriser and the Lee poloriser. I wont name it but it cost me over eighty pounds and had good reviews. This Lee poloriser is however brilliant. It has really made a difference to the saturation of colours and seeing detail through water. Expensive but buying anything else is a false economy.

A great filter. It's not a joy to handle, though. To be fair, it is deliberately designed to be super thin to reduce vignetting at a wide angle but it's not easy to maneuver as a consequence. If you can live without such a thin polariser, go for the normal one. I don't think there's a simple solution and I don't suppose it's designed to be used in a hurry!

Very good polariser and very thin, which is of course the point.Slight warm-up feel to it, which I don't mind at all.The 105mm front ring is required of course which together with this filter makes it an expensive investment.Still, it replaces a number of individual polarisers for multiple lenses. Should have bought this first.

Expensive that can be tough to unscrew from the filter ring which you have to by separate.Having used the filter for sometime now I found it performed really well especially on Dartmoor during the autumn where it enhanced the autumn colours and reduced glare from the streams.

Very expensive - especially with the added need to buy the fittings but it is a high quality device and "you get what you pay for"This system allows for use of grads with a stopper and polarizer - that really slows the light down!

Ok its expensive, but all Lee stuff is, but worth the price.Very thin so no vignette even on a 21mm Zeiss on my full frame D810.Slight warm cast but that works well for landscapes.

Very fast delivery, have only tried it on the filter holder so far but it seems to work absolutely fine and is indeed very much slimmer than more conventional filters

Beautiful, thin Polariser. Needs the 105mm adaptor to fit to the Le e base kit. Works superbly, as all Lee products do. Not cheap!
