Locking mechanism is a little stiff, but it works. I bought this as a secondary lock to use with the Kryptonite Evolution Mini-7 U-lock. The U-lock came with a flex cable, but it's a little thin. Using this instead is good for extra security, and has the benefit of having its own mount, and you came use it on it's own in low theft areas.

Whilst this only has a security rating of 2, it does not weigh too much and stows neatly under crossbar. As long at it deters a potential thief to pass on by whilst you've popped into the library, shops etc - job done.

Had trouble with the first one I was sent, but a replacement has been excellent. I realise it would not secure against strong bolt cutters but it is OK for the area I live in and for the short periods I leave my bike.

High quality product. Works very well and does the job perfectly. Is long enough to go through my back wheel, frame, front wheel and bike rack. 100% recommend

You will never stop a bike thief with a petrol angle grinder. But works for my daughters bike parked up on the school premises.
