In a world of square, angular cooking hoods, this is a refreshing change. I wanted a retro-ish hood, but without the astronomical prices of the usual retro brands - after all, it is just sucking stuff out of your kitchen! This is so much more appealing in appearance than the usual square fare.There are actually two black versions - a matt and a shiny version (if you search Klarstein online, you can see the difference - it's subtle, but could be key if you already have black in your kitchen). Each have the bar (a kind of dull brass colour) underneath the hood, which is ideal for hanging your utensils; would have been nice if they had included some hooks to do so...The chimney section is adjustable,
