Great helmet for the price. This is a previous year model and the ear flaps are a pleather like material. The current model is a nicer looking fabric but the savings are worth the difference. I tried several other brands at sporting goods stores but K2 was the most comfortable to everyone in my family. This helmet is very warm. I was needless worried about this. The active vents work well to regulate heat and stay comfortable. My son and I both got this helmet in different colors and my wife the K2 Virtue (she liked the purple).

A very comfortable helmet, padded and warming. The surround system adds a lot to the helmet, Good hearing quality with the ability to hear the environment. Of course it looks great and sits good on the head!

I love my helmet! It is comfortable, warm and while I haven't yet used the speakers while skiing I did try them out and they sound decent.

Great helmet, killer price. Audio is good, but the cable can fail. Just by a more sturdy aux cord.
