I needed a tough, adaptable cabin sized bag, mostly for 2 or 3 night work trips. My old rigid case was getting battered and was smaller than I wanted as I had to make sure it got on to whatever airline I was using. It also needed to be tough enough for rough city streets as much as airport lounges. In my experience, most 4 wheelers don't have tough enough wheels for use anywhere but the airport and most fabric 2 wheelers get damaged along the edge between the wheelsThis TRT wheelie case is a superb set of compromises, seems tough so far, not too heavy, and nicely anonymous. For the price of an all rigid Samsonite Cabin you get a very flexible piece of kitIt’s half rigid and half soft design is ace.Crushing the soft side down makes it only 20cm deep, so I can blag it on any airline (hopefully). Its a full 55cm tall and 34cm wide and stretches to over c28cm deep when really full. The two wheel design means lot of usable space too - it is positively tardis like. Only the main zip can be locked but that’s fine with me for non checking luggageThe rigid base half also means that the fragile edge between the wheels is well protected against kerbs and uneven ground (why do so few cases protect that bit properly?) Again, as a 2 wheel design it’s so practical and robust in real world use. And the positively inspired ability to add rucksack straps, mean you can grab and carry really easily if the terrain is too rough or you are running late4 stars is a little harsh (4.5 fairer) to get to 5 stars at this price they need to fix a few annoyances for meThe rucksack straps are beautifully made but awkward to fit in a hurry - you also have to fit them on the "wrong side", so the strap marked L goes on your right shoulder (which amused my kids). If you decide to leave them on "just in case" they drag on the floor, I have tried to rig up something with shock cord in to the Molle straps but there must be a more elegant solution. The straps are also just too long for their storage pouchThe handle locks fully up and sometimes locks half up - but it doesnt seem to be designed to lock half way. Again if you travel a lot its really useful to have the handle at half height sometimes for stairs and the like. The double aluminium tube handle design is good though because it keeps an external laptop bag, or similar, nice and secureThe orange anodised accents look nice enough (I am not a fan, you might be) but get to look shabby pretty fast. A gunmetal grey to match the rucksack strap buckles might be more practical and carry their wear betterThe label clearly said '15" notebook case inside' but there is no such thing - it has padded compartment, no removable case like Wengers et al. Most folks probably already have a little padded laptop case so no biggy

I love this thing. Also got it at a great price, so I'm totes stoked about it. I like that the backpack straps attach to the front, so you can keep your passport in the designated passport pocket in the front and dirty rotten thieves won't be able to get to it when you're wearing the bag on your back since the access to that pocket is right next to your body. Super sturdy, love the molle straps on the outside, handle works well, wheels seems tough. Overall a very well designed pack, and not as expensive as similar convertible rolling carry-ons from Osprey and Eagle Creek, etc. Jack Wolfskin FTW!!!

Great quality. Professional looking yet still has that outdoor adventurer look. A big fan of Jack Wolfskin myself. Good space. Good number of pockets. Decent padded space for 15 inch laptop. Separate pocket with air vents for used clothing to keep separate from clean. Sturdy wheels.I've used mine and done plenty of milage with it over cobbled stoned streets and what not. Still looks great. Fantastic luggage carrier.

Great carry on size for any carrier. Lots of pockets. The carry handle is a little awkward as it’s not centred and main compartment can be a little difficult to open as fabric moves against back rigid section but I’m really just being super pedantic.

This product ticked all the boxes for a well thought out case which would be allowed as a ‘carry on case’. Very competively prices. Delivery service excellent especially as it was ordered to close to Christmas

It's nice beautiful and perfect for short trips. Can use it as backpack too. But only flaw is not locker option. But i will mark 5 star because it's nice design and durability.
