Since this barely sub-splendid product is rather similar to the LUXURY 'WAFFLE' CURTAIN SET - MULTIPLE COLOURS & SIZES - PELMET - 138" BISCUIT which I took the trouble to review some time ago, and since my review of the LUXURY 'WAFFLE' CURTAIN SET - MULTIPLE COLOURS & SIZES - PELMET - 138" BISCUIT aroused such enthusiasm that Amazon had to delete my review to allow the factory to get its breath back, I thought that as a public service I should reproduce it here. Let me make quite clear that it's not so much that I deeply resent being deleted but rather that the present waffle curtain is so similar to the one I wrote about before that, while the latter remains off the market,the former is so much the next best thing that it would be churlish not to say so, with due allowance for minor differences between them, which you'd need really good eyesight to spot and a really good bulbereen-style calibration stick to measure. Purists might object that the curtaining now offered doesn't come as a set with the pelmet included, but - you know what? - increasing maturity inclines me to modify my once-avid partisanship for the humble and long-under-appreciated pelmet. Now, I'm like Uh-huh, pelmet, huh? Gedda life! But since the following review - as I have already said - was written about a slightly different product, and that product included a pelmet, and since at the time I was actually a pelmet-fan, permit me to leave in the references to the pelmet as a matter of historical authenticity.For most of us, pelmets and curtains of this stylishness are the stuff of memories of grandparents' lounges, posh holiday hotels or Hollywood film sets. This LUXURY 'WAFFLE' CURTAIN SET - MULTIPLE COLOURS & SIZES - PELMET - 138" BISCUIT, however, brings such dreams or memories within the reach of ordinary folk who, in our strife-torn early 21st century, deserve the comfort of a stylish pelmet and curtains dangling or hooked back below it perhaps even more than our parents' parents did. One of the odd ironies of the present year (Olympic year 2012) is that for the millions who will come to watch their favourite athletes compete in London, a goodly number who can afford the hiked-up hotel prices will probably awake to their Full English cholesterol-feast each morning of the competition with the gentle waffle of luxury curtains at the window, even if (as Americans or Canadians) not all will find an expected waffle on the plate. Exactly what I was looking for, and them some. I got the chocolate brown to compliment my cream carpet (which has hints of brown).Very lightweight and not completely blackout but it still will darken a room fairly well.As you can see from the pics, Im using them as a front door curtain. The total length of my curtain pole measures 150cm/60" (30" each side) wide so I was indecisive as to whether to get 46" or 66" width but I decided to opt for the 66" as I wanted the curtain to gather as much as possible to try and block out more light, plus its always better to have too much then not enough :) I will need to get them trimmed off the bottom too as they are about 25cm too long.They have a slitpocket at the back so Im using them as a hidden tab top/rod pocket because I dont particularly enjoy the sound of metal hooks clanging against a metal pole in the morningsEDIT: These curtains are not thick by any means, but I have noticed that the noise transmitted via my front door from the street is muffled! So even though they are not soundproof curtains, I believe that the excess draping are assisting the traffic/street noise being blocked out - so happy!!! My curtain pole measures a total of 60" wide and the 66" curtains I got are 132" wide in total. My mate also suggested I move the curtain pole higher so that I dont have to pay for a tailor which I intend on doing. Im still very happy with my purchase and find that I am getting a better nights sleep now that the noise is being muffled via the front door. Happy days :)

So I ordered these curtains in two different sizes meaning that they have come from two different sellers. The first ones I ordered where for my conservatory door. These came next day delivered and were packeged in proper packaging. The curtains are well made and look very nice. This set did not come with tie backs.I ordered a further two pairs which are shorter. These two pairs have come in a plain plastic bag with no branding on them at all. This doesn’t bother me but this may bother some people. These are the exact same curtains and match up perfectly to the ones that have already been hanging up in my conservatory.The delivery on these was the most impressive as they quoted these to come between 27/05 -06/06 they arrived on 18/05 (order date 10/05).These two sets of curtains have come with the tie backs as well which is a bonus expect the pair I order and the same time for the doors have not come with them so I’m slightly disappointed with that.Overall the curtains are very good quality for the price and are lined well. They are very cheap which is great if you need more than one pair! (I needed 3!) the only downside is it seems if you order on prime you don’t get the tie backs yet with the others you get the tie backs...

bought curtains for my living room to replace my old unlined tatty curtains ,I bought them based on the reasonable price and all the reviews I read about them, and the are very nice curtains, but they let in just as much light as my old curtains did, I thought by buying curtains with a backing on them that they would be better than my old curtains ,but the backing on them is made of a material that I can only describe as similar to what tea bags are made of and don't reduce the light very well and as for thermal property's I cant comment on that yet.but for the price they are very well made and really look very nice now they are up, I would definitely recommend them certainly for decoration value but not for light reducing property's,I think I will put another thicker backing on them before next winter comes in.

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews! These curtains are absolutely beautiful and very sturdy. Other buyers have complained about strings coming loose etc... There are 3 draw strings at each end of the curtain that need to be gently pulled out and knotted/secured to your desired preference of ruffling at the top of the curtain and there is also a sticker stating that this needs to be done (if you do not do this your curtains will have loose strings and fall apart). They are also packed like every other curtain on the market wether you're paying £10 or £100, One quick cold/delicate wash gets the creases right out. Also people complaining about the pull backs not being in the package,it's clearly states there are various Options of this and not that they are actually included.

These curtains are lovely.Must admit I bought 'used',and was quite panicked when I saw a different size on the packet from that which I ordered..On the back of the packet was the ordered size---so,i had to open and measure.Luckily,they were the size I ordered.They were bought to 'tidy up' a room for xmas,so no need not to try 'used', as the room was not on show all the time.The curtains are a lovely deep red and the material is very soft .I shall look to buy cushion covers to match/contrast.Just one little 'beware',they snag very easily----so make sure your fingernails are nice and 'even'!!! So just to say,dont be panicked and disappointed if the sizes on packet differs[we know itshouldn't-but---]--take them out and measure.I can recommend them----I already know they will look nice.

For the price these are excellent curtains. Close up they look a bit cheap but once hanging they drape nicely and look very good. The 3" heading tape doesn't gather as well as cotton curtains with a 4" heading tape, but it looks ok. I bought the natural colour. I would describe it as a dark cream, or buttermilk colour rather than a light cream, but it blends in nicely with the lighter cream walls and the ivory blind we have. I also used the tie backs from the previous curtains which are lighter and look absolutely fine. I needed some cream curtains quickly without spending a lot, and these fitted the bill - they should fit most windows if we move house as well, being long curtains.

Taupe curtains, 2 pairs 90 x90. After reading other reviews decided I would order these and for the price I am quite happy. I love the colour and a lot of curtains in the 'Taupe' colour I have seen are too brown/gold and I wanted a Taupe colour that had the right shade for me which these are so am very happy with colour. They aren't the most amazing quality you can find but they are very attractive when hung up. They arrived perfectly folded and only have the packed fold lines so no need to iron. I would give 5 stars for the colour for my taste but dropped one star for the quality, that's not to say they are poor quality at all. I would buy again for sure.

These curtains came very well packaged and on time, about 2 days after ordering. They are a lovely colour, like a dark mushroom colour, and well lined. My lounge has a window both ends of the room so i needed a good curtain to keep the sunlight out during the day time, especially when viewing during the daytime. These do this brilliantly. I was tempted to have the cream colour ones but read reviews about them and decided on these, I'm so very glad i did the cream would have been too light for my needs and this colour goes well with my scheme. So to re cap, well made, well lined, delivery very fast, and quality is excellent. Give them a go.

I bought these curtains in the 'Natural' shade, which on arrival I would definitely describe as more of a pale gold colour. I wanted a more neutral colour but to be perfectly honest because the quality seems so good and they actually look rather expensive I am happy to keep them as they are. If you want some low priced, good quality curtains then go for it - but if you are wanting the 'natural' shade in particular it's worth bearing in mind that it's a very warm cream shade, verging on a pale yellow. Also the lining isn't black out just to clarify - but still reasonably well lined. Overall a good buy!

Very good quality and resonable price curtain.I had ordered black-out curtain on Amazon, but it was not satisfied me. So, I returned and bought this one.This curtain has specific waffle patterns that make warm and tidy atmosphere in my room. And also, it is made two layers, as you can see the second pic assistant thin curtain, to make much better and warmer than one layer. Moreover, it's not black out, but! it is enough to make my room dark as I want.I am really happy to buy this curtain and to write this fully satisfied review.

I wasn't expecting too much from these curtains given the price but I was pleasantly surprised .They were bought for a spare bedroom and although they are hardly black out curtains they don't need to be for this purpose .They hang nicely ,the material has a slight sheen in the pattern which enhances them I think .They are fully lined and look as if they should have cost more than I paid . There are no tiebacks ,something to be aware of if this is important to you .Other than that an excellent pair of basic curtains .

These are lovely, bought the green which is a cross between leaf and sage green. Stuck in a difficult position in a rented flat, where the windows have been replaced and my original tracking was removed. Has a large bay, where l needed to buy two pair of different size curtains for privacy, but without the expense (as moving in a few months) Hung curtains in window recesses with extension rods, not too heavy, look really nice, affords me privacy and only cost me £45 for the two pair. Job done, and very pleased.

Amazing value for money. These curtains look really good hanging up. The 'waffle' pattern is sufficient to make them distinctive, without the distraction of a competing pattern against the wallpaper that is in the room I've put them in. They are not blackout curtains, and do not claim to be so don't expect them to block out all light, but neither are they as sheer as I was expecting considering the price. A true bargain and I'm very happy with how they look in our guest bedroom. Recommend.

Firstly- these are not blackout curtains by any stretch of the imagination, but I knew that from reading the reviews before I bought them. I got the cream curtains in 66x90, you cannot get 90" drop curtans anywhere else for this price, so I am very happy with them. The cream is on the yellow side, not a true cream, the waffle texture is nice and they a slightly shiny finish to them. Taking into account the price of other curtains this size, they are a real bargain.
