I am a DJ who gigs at parties, weddings etc .... i,m not a club DJ. I have had a number of 19 inch rack mixers all budget driven and under the £200 mark........ If you dont want bells and whistles i tend to go for budget mixers as i have the speakers at a good investment. That said its important your mixer is built well and this IMG stageline ticks this box , its a german company ( monacor ) and the build feels solid and the actions of the eq settings are noticable when used. The beauty of this mixer is its volume points.......it has gain on each channel and the volume on each channel is excellent at 3/4 level setting ..... then you also have your master which can really crank up the SPL,s.. !
