I oggled this sweater in stores in the pre-covid era but couldn't justify the price for something I wouldn't be using as technical gear (this may change if next winter's ski season happens) but saw it on sale when I was ordering more bras and caved. It was really hard to figure out sizing when ordering online because I have long arms and hate when sleeves are too short and I couldn't find the actual dimensions on the icebreaker site. I ended up getting the medium despite wearing a small in icebreaker bras and t-shirts and ended up with a comfy, loose fitting sweater with a good fit in the shoulders and sleeve length. I've had my eye on this sweater for at least a year now, and I'm happy it's finally in my closet. I was drawn to the classic style with cute tiny-heart details. I have the Toast Heather colour which is a nice neutral tan tone that reminds me of a vintage 70s look. Was really excited to expand my Icebreaker options to outside the performance range and more into lifestyle (I have leggings, underwear, tees, jacket)The sweater is a lovely weight, on the heavier side, without being too hot. Fresh out of the packaging, it's silky smooth and hangs nicely on the body.However, I've only worn the sweater a few times, and there's already pilling around the sleeves and underarms.

I needed a warm chunky jumper for the winter and this one didn't disappoint. It's bordering on being too warm! Made of nothing but merino wool with no synthetics, which is great as it should be biodegradable. The jumper looks smart and great to wear with skinny jeans. Fits true to size – I got XS which I usually wear in most brands and I'm athletic build UK8 (90cm chest). The sleeves are pretty long but the ribbed cuffs can be turned up nicely. It's quite roomy and not completely fitted, but not too loose and fits well under my cycling jacket. The only minor thing is a small thread has pulled out of the jumper after a couple of weeks, but it might be my wearing it every day,

So soft and comfortable I want to get this in more colors! It feels incredible, looks great, and the fit is true to size. I have Icebreaker tops in both medium and large (I'm 5'8", 170 lbs), and I really debated on which size to get as other reviews mentioned it being roomier than expected. I'm so glad I went with the large (which is what the fit finder suggested). While it does have a slightly relaxed fit, and there is some extra fabric in the back (as is often the case with sweaters), the large has just enough room to avoid feeling constricted, while still looking polished. I'm so glad I happened upon this sweater when buying another item on the site!

This is the female equivalent of a sweater I bought for myself last year. It was very popular with my partner so I succumbed and, when I saw it in the sale, decided to make myself popular by ordering it, if only to stop her wearing mine rather than putting the heating on.The knit is chunkier than most Icebreaker items but it is still quite soft and very warm. Not much wear at the moment as it is summer here but very popular with the recipient.One minor quibble about sizing - previous orders for my partner have been medium but the size guide said large for this item so I went for that. It is ok but medium would have been ok too I think.

Me: 5’10 125 lbs, bought a size small The pros: very soft, very warm, looks nice, hides dirtThe cons: a bit boxy, prone to pulling and pilling I bought this sweater when it was full price, so I had high expectations. It’s now a staple sweater. I accidentally put it in the drier and braced myself for its having shrunk, but in fact the sleeves are the same and the body only shrunk up and in a little. This was a good thing, because the body was a bit boxy and long for my taste. After drying it, it now hits me just below my pelvis bone, which I prefer over the length it was previously (it shrunk up about 1”).

I'd been looking at this jumper for weeks. I don't buy things lightly, I have to be sure and it has to be right if I am going to keep it. I'm so glad I did buy it because it's going to become one of those items I have for ever. The style means I can wear it in the city for work days, as well as on camping trips and days spent in the outdoors. Plus, it's at home paired with shorts or smart trousers! At the moment, since it's summer, it's my go-to to throw on after swimming in the river or surfing in the sea because it gives instant core warmth. I love it, it's so much more stylish than it looks in the picture!

On a cold and rainy paddling trip recently I realized I needed to buy one more warm layer that would also keep me warm when wet (did I mention the rain?), and decided to invest in a merino sweater. I ordered the Waypoint Crewe the minute I got home and really haven’t taken it off since it arrived. I ordered it strictly for warmth and not for style, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it looks on. It’s really warm without being a bulky itchy wool sweater. It’s perfect under my rain jacket, and the sleeves are just that extra couple centimetres long to make sure they don’t ride up so your wrists stay warm.

A soft, functional and timeless sweater. It shares the loose, casual “Joan Didion” feel of Icebreaker’s amazing “Muster” sweater (In other words...loose arm and shoulder feel, and no binding waistband!) but with a bit thicker and substantial weave for colder days. I put this sweater on and feel like I’ve owned it forever. You’ll never hesitate to embrace the challenge of a cold winter’s day in this exceptional sweater.I order one size up to a large because I like that sort of fit - I’m 137lbs and 5’6” and could wear a medium but prefer a looser overall fit and style in wool sweaters.

I ordered an XL in this sweater and LOVE it! Sizing for online orders can be really questionable- I'm 5'6 and 165lbs which I carry mostly in my chest and belly. XLs can be too long/narrow so it fits like a dress or too wide/boxy so it fits like a crop top. This sweater fits me perfectly. It hits at my hips to cover my belly even when I raise my arms and has plenty of stretch so it allows great flexibility through the shoulders. Plus, it is soooo soft and the perfect amount of warmth for northern California winter. I have had it for about 3 weeks now and worn it almost every other day.

Honestly, I've been camping out in the same cashmere sweater all winter, and I think my Zoom meeting mates are beginning to catch on. So... I sought out a new cozy, roomy, casual but sharp-looking sweater, and the Waypoint Crewe Sweater absolutely delivered. Yes, the fibers in its weave are quite fine, and a thorn from a wayward rose bush snagged and pulled a thread out. Fortunately, I'm a knitter, and was able to pull it back into place with a tiny crochet hook. Otherwise, this thing is warm, comfortable, and good-looking.

I really wasn't sure whether to order a XS or S based on the reviews. I didn't want a baggy sweater but also have long arms and waist and didn't want it too shirt if I went smaller. Based on reviews I decided to order my regular size, small. And it was just as others mentioned: relaxed fit but drapes well and still stylish. If I had ordered down, it for sure would have been too short in the sleeves and torso on my long upper body. Wool is super soft, light, and warm. The style is subtle and classic. Would definitely recommend.

Probably the nicest sweater I’ve ever owned. It’s soft and really warm! I took the advice of several reviews and sized down (I am usually S or XS in icebreaker depending on product, or my own weight fluctuations). XS fits nicely on my current 5 ft, 120 lb situation. It’s fitted and not too baggy. Purchased on end of season sale so this was a no-brainer investment! It’s really warm and still summer so won’t actually wear it for a few months, but have tried it on a few time in AC just because I love it so much and it feels so cozy

This sweater is unlike any of my other icebreaker sweaters. It is a knitted jacquard and is nice and thick, unlike normal icebreaker jersey knits. I really like it so far - it's so soft and warm and cosy, and has a good fit true to size although might be considered too long for shorter people (I'm XS and I bought XS, but at 5'3" it just fits on length). Also quite a traditional style and not sporty which means it can be worn to work. Saving up for the rollneck version.Yet to see how the fabric holds up though.

This sweater has been through it all with me. Paddle board expeditions, fishing trips, snowshoeing, walking, running any thing I do outside when I need an extra layer or a sweater for around the fire this is it!I just ordered a second one, I'm 5' 5" and 140 lbs and the first one I ordered in small which is great for layering under as it isn't too big. This next one is a medium so I can wear it a bit looser.Catch it on sale to add to the cost for value. Keep on making this sweater it's amazing!
