I took the words of advice and bought this in a size larger than I normally wear. A good thing too because it is pretty snug with a layer underneath in the size bigger. A small would never have worked. The sweater is much nicer than the picture. The details are fabulous too. I would definitly put this one a price watching tool since the price can vary. I bought mine when I got the notice that it was priced within my range. I am very glad I purchased this. It will get a lot of use and with the Dale of Norway quality, I am sure that it will last a long, long time.

I was fortunate to get this wonderful sweater for a great price. I've always dreamed of owning a Dale of Norway sweater and this one did not disappoint. I followed the advise of reviewers and sized up to a large, which gave me a comfortably loose fitting sweater that I will be able to layer over a turtleneck. Beautifully crafted, great buttons and even lovely embroidery around the zipper, this is pricey to be sure, but well worth the investment. Also the color is a very lovely light blue, lighter than the photo. I absolutely love this sweater.

Love these Dale of Norway sweaters, just be forewarned that they do run small. I size up because I like to layer and I don't like the "fitted" look on a sweater. The pattern is exquisite. Have light blue and white and tan and white. Would get more if I could! The wool is heavy, definitely works as a warm layer outside, for inside I'd say it breathes, but best for places that are a little chilly/drafty.

I originally purchased the small size (my wife wears small). That was a mistake. Next time I believe the previous reviewers. I returned the sweater and bought a medium (which cost quite a bit more). This fits fine.I should mention that the colors are different than the photo; they are not as sharply defined. If you like this, you will say the color is "muted"; if you do not, you will say it is "dull".

I got the dark blue and light blue one. There is everything to love about this sweater! It took a while to get here, but it was so worth it! Excellent quality, customer service... They even sent a card and a chocolate from over there! It fits me very well, I can even wear layers under it. The colors are exactly as pictured. Also, its very warm, very high quality.

This is my 9th Dale of Norway Peace sweater -- this time I bought the Navy/Ice and I love the color. I've been happy with every single one (Black/White, Mocha/White, Orange/White, Cobalt/White, Red Rose/White, Black/Brown, Purple/White, Lingonberry/Currant). They are cut fitted so keep that in mind when ordering.

This beautiful sweater is a good buy but a little rougher than expected. I would have preferred a sweater that was softer, even if less heavy. This one will be fine though and I do like it. It is a lovely sweater and fits as expected. thanks for a good addition to my wardrobe.

I am a US 10/12 , 5'9, 165 lbs and the large fit me perfectly. It hit at hip level, skimmed the body but was not tight or boxy. The weave is thicker without feeling bulky and the color rich. I cannot wait to wear this sweater this fall.

I bought this from the Amazon best seller in Alaska. I received a handwritten note and an ornament with the sweater. It was such a wonderful treat. The sweater was beautiful and well made! I'm 5"10" and bought a large it fits great.

Fabulous garment.Because of the pattern and close knit,anyone that is a small,needs a medium in dale.I have the same style in orange and white from years back so was happy to find this one.They last for years and always look good

My Dale of Norway sweater is just beautiful. If people find wool itchy, my knitting group recommends washing it by hand in warm water with cream rinse to soften it. I am loving that the neck is lined with soft fleece. So happy!

I purchased this beautiful sweater for both my daughter and my mom for Christmas.It fits beautifully and keeps them warm. The styling is feminine and the fit is trim. Go up a size if you prefer your garments to be loose.

Nicely made, warm, very attractive-looking. I love the colors and the design. Definitely worth the money. I have two of them--one in red and white and this one.

Sweater was prettier than I thought it would be. The buttons on the sleeve have a little crystal in them- nice touch! It is a very well made sweater.

Exquisitely well made, very flattering and warm. The navy blue colour is very dark, though. I returned it and ordered in another colour.
