This is a lovely warm hoodie for active types. It is, however, my second one, the original having developed a fault in it after only 2 months. But, both Icebreaker and Amazon were excellent with Customer Care and Guarantee, and so far this one has been as I had expected from other Icebreaker products I have had throughout the years. It is a jersey type 100% merino wool jacket-hoodie and is quite thin material, although worn over another merino long sleeved top, it is warm enough to venture outside on a cold day to be active- i.e cycling, jogging. Wearing it under another outer layer, perhaps a down jacket, I would imagine it would be quite cosy for skiing (provided your base layers were right for you).

As always perfect for every day. It is never too hot or too cold. Cut suits me very well. Great that you can extend the sleeves through the double cuff to gloves (without thumbs). On the sleeve cuffs front would be a reinforced degree great. That's always the first thing that gets messed up. Beautiful color (eggplant). Would be nice if the Jäggli were in pink again ;-). My absolute favorite garment I really wear EVERY day.

Bought this for my wife, and she loves it. Keeps her toasty on cold winter runs. She really likes the built in mittens.She is a small 10 and the small size fits well.

I've had similar jacket (black) and used it heavily for 4 years. It's perfect extra lair in our winters and great on other seasons even as everyday jacket.
