This is my first experience with SKINS products. I was not quite sure what I was getting when I selected these leggings to try. My thoughts below:Fit: I was offered these leggings in a size small. I am 5'7 and 135 lbs (on a good day). Generally I order most leggings in a medium but the size chart indicated that I should go with a small, so I gave these a shot. When I received the leggings I thought, "no way" but sure enough, they fit nicely once I put them on. They are just long enough for me at my height and weight and might fit others who are an inch or two taller and a few pounds lighter but I would not push it too much more than that.Form: these are really awesome looking leggings, they are whisper thin, with curve accents and ventilation panels in all the right places. They hold you in too, so lumps and bumps are not so readily apparent.Function: I was shocked how comfortable these leggings were (after I ran them through a cold cycle and air dried them) and how much they helped with muscle fatigue after a work out. I put them on before a long mountain hike and noticed a big difference by the end of my trek. My legs felt awesome. The leggings were light enough so I never felt hot but protective enough to keep the taller grasses from cutting. I did run up against a thorn bush at one point and the leggings caught but fortunately did not snag. All in all I really was impressed by these leggings and am going to look into their other product lines, it would be great if they could do something about my sore lats - lol!Highly recommended.

I am not an especially serious runner - I run 5k twice a week - and so I'm afraid I would never spend this sort of money on running tights. However, if you are looking to invest, these are a good pair. Despite being tight-fitting, they are very comfortable and seem to be hard-wearing. My legs did feel better-supported while I was running, and they are also good for stretching exercises, press-ups, sit-ups, planks etc. Despite the hot weather recently, I didn't find them too hot to wear - perhaps due to the breathable panels - although they would probably be marginally more comfortable on a cooler day. They look good, although I could have done without the 'limoncello' stripes, which clash badly with all of my running tops - I would have preferred a pair solely in black and grey.Sizing may be an issue. I am 5'7", 118 pounds, and usually wear size 8 clothes. According to the size chart, I should be wearing an XS. The S pair that I received was actually the perfect fit. These tights are meant to be pretty snug, but anything tighter would have been uncomfortable. I'd suggest trying the size up, especially if, like me, you're quite close to the borderline of two sizes. The tights were initially difficult to get on, but after wearing them once, they were much easier to pull on - so this shouldn't be a problem. I was also worried they would be too revealing - they are extremely tight-fitting, but completely opaque, so I felt comfortable going out in them.Recommended if you can handle the expense

The pair I received were marked 'FS' and they fit my teenage daughter, although my partner Louise who is curvier all round was disappointed they didn't fit her!My daughter who is sixteen and slender was delighted to try these as she's a keen athlete (running events, cycling, hockey and general gym work) and ran for her county for two years when she was fourteen and fifteen. She'd read of the benefits supposedly supplied by compression tights although I'd previously told her these were probably a gimmick (largely because I couldn't afford to buy them for her!)After trying them out on a couple of ten mile runs she reports that they supported her legs and she didn't get the usual tightness in her calves after picking up following a couple of months concentrating on cycling - with zero running. She felt the support was therefore good and the tights felt comfortable. She rated their performance 9/10.She gives them 8 out of 10 for style - although she'd have preferred the limoncello stripe to have been blue or the tights to have been plain black.Overall she is glad to have the tights and will continue wearing them. They feel well-made and seem to be durable, and all in all she considers them to be beneficial to her training - and they look pretty good on her too.

Oh I so want more of these tights. I love them. I exercise a lot and have 2 pairs of three quarter length skins which I have worn for at least 2 years. My main reason for getting them is that I am very slim and have really skinny legs and these are the best fit I can get. I am used to wearing XS and the sizing here was different so I took the risk that FS would fit. I take a size 6 or 8 in clothes. These fit me perfectly but at 4 ft 9.5 they were a little bit long. This is not a big problem as I just turn them up. I hope this helps with sizing. The leggings themselves are black with the trade mark yellow and grey panels The skins insignia is on left leg and both hems at the foot. They are well made and there is rather nice stitching detail to give the curved look. There is a mesh panel on each leg. I wore them to run and for a gym workout which meant lots of jumping and squatting and found that they were comfortable to wear and stayed in place well. I even left them out till late afternoon after my morning run and there was no bagging at the knees. I really love these and think they will be great in winter too.

I absolutely LOVE these skins. The first day I tried them on, I wore them all day. They are snug, but not confining and tight but in that "good-oh-my-gosh-circulation-way." I probably should have eased into that long of wearing them that long, but I felt so good I kept them on. They are super slimming, and great to jog in. I also do Yoga in them and just wear them around the house to lounge and work in.For sizing, I am 5'7" and weigh 130lbs. I am normally between size 6 and 8 and I received a size small. I thought they would be too small, but they fit wonderfully. Easy to put on, and they feel the perfect fit for my size. If I wanted more compression I would get a size smaller, and if you are my size and want a LOT of compression get the size smaller..... but for me they compress my legs without feeling confined, and running away trying to get them OFF!! I don't want that feeling.I do think they are pricy.... that said, if you need a very stylish and nice looking compression tight to run in, these are super cute and amazing!!

Overall, these tights are a pretty good product. The size chart put me at the low end of small. The small size fit satisfactory and the compression was enough to drastically reduce leg fatigue and give me the support I needed for running and exercise classes at the gym. Though, I think the extra-small may have fit even better and given me more compression (which I would like). My only frustration is that the tights have 50 SPF except for the nylon areas, which loop around the shin and calf in two thin lines. I am sun sensitive and need SPF protection, so I can't wear these to exercise outside without providing SPF coverage to the skin exposed by the nylon areas. The nylon areas also irritate my skin,so I would prefer the tights to not have any nylon on them at all.I do my best to try and provide the information that I'd want in making a purchase, so I hope you found this review helpful. If you have any questions, just ask in the comments and I'll try and respond promptly.

My daughter and son both like wearing outfits like this when running - particularly when the weather starts getting cooler. (Though this isn't really designed as a cold weather/insulating product, it WILL offer some bit of protection from the wind and cold.) My daughter won't be wearing this on 90-degree days, but she will certainly be wearing it when the weather gets cooler - both while running and under her regular clothes for marching band activities in the fall. She has several other types of compression tights, and these don't seem all that different from the ones she already has (from Nike, Adidas,Reebok), though the price is significantly higher than the products from those other companies. While we like this product just fine and don't have any complaints about the quality and performance of them, the high price is definitely a concern, and will likely be a valid consideration when deciding if this product is right for you, too.

The Skins compression pants are sleek and functional. Though I have not gone for a run in the pants yet, I can tell that these will prevent chafing and move well without limiting any mobility. I sized in the low end of the medium range, so I went with a small and am glad I did. The pants stretch a good deal and though it looked like the small wouldn’t fit — and was challenging to get on initially — they ended up being just right. The only thing I would have preferred is if the waistband came up about half an inch higher to be over the bellybutton. Some people might not mind a lower rise, but for running, I prefer a high waisted pant. Overall, the Skins pants will be a great addition to my winter running wardrobe, assuming that waistband does not ride or roll down over longer distances.

Ordered these for my wife for general running and keep fit in Black/Limoncello sized FS. She is 5 ft 5 and typically a size 8-10 but could probably of done with the next size up as although she could get them on they are a bit too tight for her. They are compression tights though so it is a balance between being too tight and providing support. The tights did look well finished and made though being long enough in the leg. They have attractive graphics and cut without being too gaudy and are thick enough not to be see through without being to hot. She is going to wear them a few times more to see if they loosen up a bit as others have reported and overall was pleased with their cut and design. They are not cheap but look to be a of good quality.

My wife loved these compression tights for her daily workouts which range from spinning classes, HIIT, deepWorks, etc. to other stuff like running. This is her only compression tights and she has observed that her endurance has increased and these do provide additional support to leg muscles which helps a lot. She has a small size which fits as expected for her 5'6" average built body. The quality of product is very good and it dries very quickly, looks stylish, and works a s expected. The so many claims made by the manufacturer are really difficult to evaluate unless you are a serious athlete. It's definitely a bit expensive than regular shorts or fitness clothes, but falls in the similar range for other tights.

These are sturdy, light weight compression tights that will be perfect for winter. I'm not really an ahtlete but walk long distances regularly and am on my feet all day, and these really feel great on my leg muscles, and prevent swelling. I will be using them (or the next size up) for my base layer this winter at work (professional office work) for the compression benefit.I am in the middle of the ranges on the tall side of small, and so hoped small would work. They didn't come up high enough to be comfortable - not even to the top of my hip bones (iliac crest). For young athletic women who have not had children, this might be just fine but some of us depend on our base layer to keep our anatomy in place.

These are spectacular tights. I am a hard core spinner and wore these for one of the most challenging classes I have encountered in a long time. Amazingly I experienced no leg fatigue during or after class. I usually wear a small and these fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I usually ride wearing bike shorts and I was concerned these might be hot but they were not. With an spf built in to the fabric I will be wearing these outdoors for bicycle outings at any temperature. Following the laundering instructions I machine washed the leggings and hung them to dry and they were perfect, no shrinkage or other issues. It has only been three days but so far wearing these has helped relieve foot and leg cramps.

This compression tights have a nice hand and are well made. They fit well, but I am not sure whether they are fitting me tightly enough to do what they are intended to do, so I will have to say they may run a little large. I probably need an XS in this brand to provide all the benefits. They are great for running, providing chaff protection and also keeping my legs comfortable while standing for long periods. The price is higher than some of the name brands but I think they are of a higher quality and there is research behind the manufacturing of them. Like other reviewers, I kind of wish they came up a little higher at the waist, but that may depend upon your shape and your age!

These are nice leggings, they look and feel like a quality item. I would say the sizing is pretty spot on - these are compression tights so you need to expect them to be snug if they are to work. They look good when they're on - I like the flashes of colour - and they feel really supportive. Do they actually make a difference? It's hard to tell as I'm not a professional athlete completely in tune with every aspect of my body, but I think they did - my legs didn't seem to tire as quickly when running. I can definitely say they kept me warm, so that must be good for my muscles?! They're really comfy to wear, despite being so tight, and I would definitely buy another pair.

These are great workout pants. They stayed cool in the heat, were not too tight around the ankles (which is common with long workout pants), stay dry during vigorous owkrouts, and have not gotten stinky. The only downside is the waistband is too thick and makes these look like underwear. This is not a comfort issue, just an aesthetic issue. Wearing them with a long shirt to cover the waistband cures the problem, but you are probably not going to want to wear these with your belly out (like in the product photo) unless you want to look like you are just wearing some longunderwear.
