Review of the tap = Fine. It's a tap. It suits my basin and it's decent looking. What should really tell it apart from your everyday DIY store tap, however is, will it still look as good and perform as well in a few years time? Obviously I can't answer that now.Be aware that, unlike a previous Ideal Standard mixer tap I purchased, this one came without the connectors required for the flexi tails. You will need to purchase these. I have attached a photo of one of these connectors.Advice on where to purchase the tap (not the connectors) : I shopped around and found it cheaper than Amazon UK on a few sites. However, a lot of you might not realise that you can buy a lot of stuff cheaper from Amazon Germany.

Superb tap (and waste) and the Amazon price was far cheaper than anywhere else. We have another Hansgrohe tap in the house, which is superb, hence choosing this one. The quality is top-notch and I don't think you will find better for the price or even twice the price.As others have said, it comes with prefixed flexible pipes with 3/8" female connectors. This size is available in the UK from most plumbing and DIY stores, but you will probably already have 15mm pipes / connectors. To resolve this I would recommend the FLEXIBLE TAP ADAPTORS 15MM X 3/8" 2 PACK (product code 6089R) from Screwfix. After getting a pack of these, fitting was a breeze.

Excellent product, outputs nicely aerated water. Comes with sink pop-up waste, which I didn't actually need as I was just replacing the tap. Note the flexible hoses end in 12mm connections, and in the UK the usual size is 15mm, so you may need to get (two) reducing compression couplers - these are readily available for around £1.50 each. Easy to fit, but possibly useful to have someone hold it in place while doing up the under-sink nut as it is front-heavy. Came from Germany very promptly within 3 days. Wish I had more taps to replace!

Great tap once fitted This was second time purchasing one of these taps for different rooms, my only criticism of the transaction was that Amazons price tracking meant second time I paid £15 more.A word of warning if you plan to fit this yourself. It comes with European threads which will not fit your UK ball valves without fitting adapters (which are NOT included). I couldn't find a simple thread adaptor so had to use compression fittings with small pieces of 15mm pipe

This tap is perfect for a bathroom sink. It is not too big, looks elegant and smart, is excellent quality and good value for money. It makes my new bathroom look stylish and hotel quality. The water flow is lovely - even at low pressure. I am delighted with this tap and can highly recommend it. I shopped around for all my bathroom fittings and Amazon was the most competitive price I found for this item.

We had one of these fitted by a company for an en-suite recently and then decided to replace our old bathroom tap with one, so purchased one off Amazon and fitted it myself, which was amazing considering me and diy do not mix.The tap handle provides a very slick action and the water comes out very fine and soft, so not more splashing off the sink!

This is the fourth Hansgrohe basin mixer I've bought for various bathrooms in our home and former home. I also bought the sink mixer. They look classy, are very heayy duty and easy to operate. I now won't buy anything else!

Great tap but be aware the connections on the ends of the flexible hoses are European not UK standard. Took a while to find somewhere that sold them - found them on eBay in the end

We already have other Hansgrohe taps in our house so were not coming to this 'cold'. Excellent quality, perfect for small basins and the best price on the internet is right here!

It's a really nice tap but I couldn't get the waste to fit with the IKEA basin I had. So had to return the tap. One of these taps without the waste fitting would be ideal.

Quality mixer tap, BUT the waste lever is very amateur, and poor designed, looks a very cheap piece of bent wire , no kidding .disappointed !

Excellent price and product - much less expensive than UK suppliers. (However, instructions are all in German, but this wasn't a problem.)

Fantastic just right for a smallish wash basin. The jet is very good and easy to clean, easy to fit and looks good.

Very stylish tap. Looks great on the basin. Quality feel and the aerator means no splashing in our small sink.
