Faced with the prospect of curtaining massive windows in the place we'd just moved into, my prime consideration was affordability.On the plus side, for the price, these curtains are unbeatable value. In fact, it cost me more to have the length professionally altered than it did to buy the curtains - because the curtains are so big, you need to be fairly competent to alter this yourself.The material is fairly thick and a neutral shade that is unlikely to clash with anything. Great curtains. These curtains are for the living room and I'm trying to get a good look in this room where a low quality pair wouldn't suffice. I was a little apprehensive about buying curtains online as there's only so much you can tell from the photos and you can't get a good idea of the feel of them. However, knowing that it's easy to return them on Amazon, I took a chance on these and bought 2 pairs along with tie backs.The curtains are a nice heavy weight and have backing on them. This is great as it helps insulate the room. I live in an old, cold farmhouse, so retaining heat is a priority.The blackout feature of them isn't needed by me as it's the living room,

Absolutely love these curtains, great quality, great price, quick delivery, read a lot of reviews beforehand and most people were complaining they were not blackout curtains, I have them at window with wooden blinds, they keep the sun out when it is at its strongest, so I would definitely recommend these curtains, they are lined with a nice soft cream cotton lining, I will be ordering again from this seller soon

Really quick delivery, curtains have a lovely soft feel to them and are of a good quality. Slightly greyer/silvery than what I expected from the photo, but depends on the lighting. Works well in my room which is mainly creams. I ordered 2 pairs and unfortunately 1 pair had a mark, returning was so simple and the refund was processed straight away. Great curtains and great customer service. Will use again.

I brought 2 pairs of Hamilton McBride Belvedere Blackout curtains in different sizes, they look exactly same as the photos, colours where the same, material as described, they look really nice on my window, and have received many complements. Also delivery was really quick, will definitely buy from them again.

We have curtains with mink coloured stripes and this is much lighter than the curtains. It actually looks lighter than the image on Amazon but really for the price I'm not going to mark it down on quality so taken of 1 star for the colour not being accurate. Otherwise, for the money, can't really grumble!

Really great curtains.Well worth the money. I steamed the creases out,all curtains that are packaged have creases,but the creases came out very easily. They are very good quality and I think they work well as blackout curtains as well as looking wonderful. Thank you.

Beautiful rich colour and well worth the money. Used to cover full-length glazed door and side windows. Fabric hangs well and feels nice. Excellent value for money - couldn't find anything like this in High Street retailers so took a chance on internet shopping!

Lovely fabric, lined, blackout, gorgeous colour. Must admit I took a chance on buying the largest curtains for my extremely large sliding glass doors. Buying online without feeling or seeing is always a worry. I am so pleased with these curtains. 100% thumbs up.

Really nice curtains, looks good and goes well with my living room. Just one thing; be ready for a lot of STEAMING depending on the type of steam iron you have. I spent hours steaming it, to get that pencil pleat finish; Now the curtains looks fab ??

Don't feel or look cheap and look nice up thou being a typical man I pulled the string all the way through the curtains that create the gather so read the label that's on it first as both ends have to be tied by the users to fit.

Lovely thick blackout curtains which effectively block out unwanted light and vastly reduce unwanted noise. We are very happy with this purchase and with the prompt delivery. A pleasing shopping experience.

Nice soft curtains that look good up. They are not washable as described as the instructions state dry clean only. I wouldn't describe them as blackout curtains either. Having said that, I do like them.

Lovely woven curtain. They seem good quality, but time and winter will tell on their use as a draught excluder! I ordered mink and it goes very well with the different shades in my living room.

Very pleased with these curtains. They are a lovely quality, hang very well, and the colour is true to the photo. Would look good with any colour decor I should think. Price was good as well.
