With so many options available with an accompanying wide range in price, Hama stands out as a recognised manufacturer. Great filter at the price I paid but it has increased by over £100 overnight. Something wrong there!Threads all clean & undamaged so fitting and removal are easy. The filter is not neutral density and requires adjusted exposure but TTL metering takes care of that. The thoughtfully provided knob to optimise filter orientation needs to be removed (unscrewed) to attach the lens hood - an essential in controlling peripheral light. I'd recommend and buy again

Excellent product at a tiny price. Have tried it on my Samsung NX1000 and it works a treat on the 16mm f2.4 for pics with lots of blue sky and clouds - also intensifies colour in garden shots etc. (cuts down flare from leaf surfaces) and can be used as a ND filter for very bright conditions.

The packaging was totally sealed, so it should have been new and in mint condition. On opening, it was very obvious that the filter had greasy fingerprints and smears on it. Very disappointing! Spent a while cleaning it, just hope the filter is ok when I come to use it.

Easily fitted to my camera and easy to use, the filter is all I expected.
