What a product, seems so simple (and is) but it does exactly what it says on the tin...The quick release kit (and bike mount) works like a dream - nothing too fiddly (but I would sit at a table to put in the strap screws!!) and different size bands for the bike (so you can choose where you mount it).I was a bit worried that this will make a fairly bulky watch too big on the wrist (and make it harder to remove a wetsuit with) but after setting up the Quick Release, I tested it with my new wetsuit and it was the same as before - no issuesAlso running, it adds about 5mm to the height but it still looks great on the wrist. For multi sport athletes this is a must buy.........

For a few bits of plastic, it's expensive. The only problem with it as a watch it sits an extra 7mm from your wrist - that's noticeable when you look at it. Honestly, though, once you've a watch this size on, it doesn't make much difference. It feels secure on the bike and on the wrist too. I've had no incidents of falling off of feeling wobbly over the last few weeks.Setup is a bit fiddly, but you only have to do it once, remember. You will need a tiny screw driver. You get two bike mounts, which is handy.5 stars because it allows you such freedom between cycling and running in a secure, convenient way.

It took a while to put the connector on to the GPS and the adaptor on to the wrist strap. Don't do this over a carpet - you could lose the small retaining screws! Also, you would do well to get a small electronics screwdriver. Once on, it is easy-peasy to swap the unit from wrist to bike and back again. So, this is perfect for quick transitions. However, it does make the GPS slightly less comfortable to wear and fit through jacket cuffs. For most of my non-racing use of the GPS, I use the normal bike mount, though this does mean fiddling with the strap again if I want to use the quick-release kit.

Great piece of kit.....allows your Garmin to be used in a 'click and go' manner on up to 2 bikes (as the kit contains 2 bike mounts and associated fixings) and a quick release wrist strap. The product is well design and manufactured and to date has worked perfectly every time. The only observation I would make is that the procedure for assembling the quick release wrist strap requires a precision cross headed screwdriver (the type watch menders use).......fortunately I had one knocking around in the depths of my tool kit.....but without this you won't be able to finish assembling the wrist strap.

This kit contains everything you need to convert your Garmin 310XT so that it can be quickly mounted & released from your bike or the wrist strap. This is important for thriathletes to save valuable time in transition. The parts are easy to fit, probably took ten minutes, afterwards you can securely clip the 310XT onto your wrist or handelbars with a simple push/rotate action. I have now bought two of these so I can keep a mount on both bikes. This is a "must have" for any triathlete / duathelte with a 310XT but is quite pricey for what at the end of the day is just some bits of plastic & rubber.

Fairly simply to change watch to a handlebar mounted device which makes it far more usable for cycling and if you still want to use it as a watch then it comes with a mount to place between the otherwise redundant watch straps. It also comes with two attachments so both bikes now have an easy to use mount. However the already bulky watch sits even higher on your wrist, which may bother some.My only real criticism is that this would be nice to be with watch when you buy it. But as it's aimed at triathletes they'd keep it on their wrist. But it's a great device even if you just cycle.

Bought this for my TT bike and was pleased to see you get two mounts so the other one has gone on my Mountain Bike. This is an extremely clever piece of kit and much slicker than the old 205/305 quick release kit which I had before. I have two other bikes and am seriously considering another kit so I can use the Garmin on all of them. The comments on needing a tiny screw driver are valid, Garmin really should include one in the pack, and it is very fiddly to re-fit the watch strap or I would have given it 5 stars.

For the price, it's worth every cent. If you're doing a fair amount of cycling, having your Garmin mounted directly in front of you, instead of on your wrist, is much better. Very easy to mount, and enables very quick interchanges between the bike and putting the 310XT on your wrist for the run.Only complaint would be that it does make the watch sit about 5mm higher on your wrist, due to the new quick-release baseplate. But you get used to it... just looks a bit weirder at first.

It does exactly what it says it does. Attaching the quick release to the watch was a bit fiddly and then the straps to the new base were even more difficult. You reattach the watch straps to a new base with hollow pins that are secured at one end by very small screws that you need to screw in. I struggled to find a small enough phillips screwdriver to screw them in. I hope they will stay in place!

It does exactly what it says it does. The instructions for mounting the watch could be a bit clearer as I had to find a demo on you tube to learn how to put the back piece on the watch but I managed it after a while. As for the actual piece of kit I think it's great and my garmin sits comfortably on my bike stem and bars with no movement at all. Really pleased and worth the extra money.

Bought this as the strap snapped on my 310XT and there was no way of putting it back on. Saw a video on YouTube of someone using the mount instead of having to replace the entire watch. Followed that and now I can wear my watch again (even though it has a little bit of extra height now).Little bit of force needed to twist it off the mounting base to get to the charging points.

Installation takes about ten minutes. The plastic seems of high quality and fairly durable. it's easy to remove from the wrist mount and transfer to the bike mount which makes it ideal for duathlons. as others have commented, it does sit a little higher on your wrist when running, but you just get used to it and the ease of use on the bike more than makes up for it.

I bought this to go with my 310XT as I began training for my first Duathlon. Adding this to my bike to transition from running to riding is a breeze and installation was easy. I now no longer have to glance at my wrist or shift my position on the bike when doing so. This keep your body position neutral with a straightforward glance down.Love it.

I was unsure if to invest in this after problems with the original strap breaking previously due to the pins. However I was very surprised by how sturdy the set up is with this and how easy it is to move betweeen disciplines. In a recent race I was totally confident that the watch was secure during the swim and bike. Very highly recommended!!

Bought this so I could secure my Garmin to the handlebars of my bike. The buckle on the strap kept distorting causing the watch to come loose. This was easy to fit and makes taking the watch off the bike much easier. Liked the fact it has two fittings so I can leave one on each bike.
