Compared to the Rovic and Roxic trousers, the Vetar is more basic with less thrills and pockets. But the key thing here is the quality and fabric. G Star do this really well by eccentuating the stitching albeit in a subtle way. Extra pocket on back gives a more utility feel while not detracting from the simple look to the front. Nice 3D stitching technique applied to knee area ensures the G Star is maintained even on a more traditional toned down product like Vetar. G Star clearly brought these out to appease those out there that are keen for a slightly smarter more office appropriate style compared to the Roxic and Rovic. No problem with that at all but would like to see a little bit of extra G Star character added to them (somewhere)

Quite simply, the perfect Chino. The fit is great; I have large thighs so appreciate the stretch. Material is so comfortable and they look smart too. However, the phone pocket is an innovation I didn't know that I needed, but now I need this in all my trousers. I will be buying again, in all the colours!
