I have put on some weight since I last bought cargo shorts about 4 years ago. As a result, my waist has gone up from the 40-42 range to 42-44 range. To put this in context, I would tend towards a jeans waist of 42 but choose 44 for more comfy, smart trousers.All my old shorts were starting to feel too tight so I decided to buy some more but there seems to be a great deal of difference between various manufacturers as to what waist is 3XL, 4Xl or 5XL. I decided to start at the top and buy the 5XL. The description for this is 44 inch.When they arrived, I tried them on and they were a little 'baggy' (but nothing that wasn't solved with a belt) so I took them off and measured them.

Decided I wanted a pair of "cammo" shorts and after trawling through the myriad of options on Amazon went for these and I have been very pleased with the purchase. They are a good knee length (something that I wanted), have plenty of pockets, a zip fly and a sturdy belt that actually stays in place after tying (for anyone who has bought similar style shorts the belts often loosen after a short while of wearing - this one hasn't).

These are great shorts, i wear them for casual use, walking, and heavy duty DIY. I have a load before this recent purchase and can say the i wear out trousers/shorts in the crotch a lot. The development of additional extra ventilation on these takes far far longer than any other type of short i have purchased in the last few years; these last 2 year vs most other no more than 1. I now own probably 8 pairs of varying colours.

These are a great design, my only gripe is that I ordered the black and the white both in medium and they both have different fits and they are too baggy is the ass region, i think they need to be a lower cut, other than that, great for hanging out round the house and a great style, strong material, will be buy more except there is a huge difference in pricing and the availability of size/ colour is disappointing.

Firstly I have tried these shorts before but found sizing to be all over the place. This time I swallowed my pride and ordered 5xl,normally xxl , and surprise surprise they fit so beware of sizing options. The shorts themselves look great as in the picture and the material is not too thick making them great for the summer,apart from the sizing a great product if a little pricey but that was my choice.

These are really good quality shorts, (they aren't cheaply made) comfortable, and most importantly THE SIZES ARE SPOT ON!, they actually fit your waist size. I have bought men's trousers/shorts etc from other online retailers in the past, and 95% of the time the waist is either bigger, or smaller. than advertised. These are spot on, so order your waist size with confidence!.

I was really nervous about getting these as my husband is very particular but he was really pleased with them, wore them straight away. Quality is really good and I definitely buy another pair. He is a 32/33 inch waist so I bought the mediums and they looked enormous off but fitted perfectly and they have character with all the pockets do much more manly than normal shorts.

I've dropped a star rating because (and it's an important point) The colour seen displayed on Amazon and what you get are not the same. In the product description I went with what I thought was Beige or a butterscotch colour. What I got is closer to flesh colour. Tonally the same but redder. The fit and feel is great but I just wish they were more "yellowy".

They were as expected, light weight and with lots of pockets. I love them and wear them all the time ( in the hope that summer has not finished yet). They do appear to be a bit overpriced though and I'm sure that if I shopped around a bit more I could have got similar at a much reduced price, hence only 4 stars.

Great shorts, loads of pockets, feel comfy, great for hiking.I will probably buy myself a second pair.BE AWARE the sizes are in inches, not centimeters, the first pair I boughtcould have served as a two man tent, but I had NO PROBLEM returning themand the second time around they fitted perfectly.

These are really good quality cargo shorts and even though you pay that little bit extra they are well worth the money Brought these for hubby who is a 32'' waist ordered the medium which ended up being a perfect fit , would definitely buy some more of these

Having worn faded levis for the best part of half a century, I felt in need of change. Cargo trousers/chinos were part of the answer but then I was introduced to cargo shorts.... Shazamm!Next phase is Adidas dragons with, gulp, trainer socks. Wish me luck.

would highly recommend. Fantastic pair of shorts-really good quality and very very comfortable. Lots of pockets too. The company had excellent customer care - you will not be disappointed with the service or in my view the product. Really happy.

Loads of pockets, a great fit, excellent belt that stays done up. Material seems good quality. I'd prefer one deep pocket with a zip, rather than just a shallow zipped one, but that's me being picky. Excellent shorts.

The shorts seem ok, ive had others from Amazon from other manufacturers and haven't been that impressed.These a better than most but still think they are a bit expensive and the wait time needs to be addressed.
