Not real denim, though you can’t tell at any distance. Not very heavy or thick, but OK for the price. The large silver tone grommets at the top were not attractive, but with an added cornice they look ok.

I'm really surprised by the reviews saying how thick these are. They are very thin and let a lot of light through.
