This is a great shape, sorter toy that plays songs & sounds and the nose lights up. It has two different settings: shapes or numbers and most importantly an off switch! It's great because it makes sounds when you put the shapes in the right holes, but also when you put anything in/out the top or press the light up nose. This means it can be enjoyed by young babies (from 6 months) as they can put the shapes in and out the top, before they're able to do the more complicated shape sorting. It's a bit plasticky, but for the features it's worth the price. My son loves it.

I have given this 4 stars as it was a birthday present for a first birthday so therefore, feel I can't rate it. Although saying that, the recipient seemed very happy with it (smiling and chuckling) and wanting to play with it straight away. She was not very happy when her older brother took it off her to play with!I was unsure whether or not she would like this but by seeing the smile on her face and the reaction to her brother taking it off her, I know that I made the right choice is choosing this gift for her.

I bought the laugh and learn cookie shape surprise toy for my son who was around 6 months at the time. Although he could not use the shape sorter as such, there are sensors in the rim of the jar which means that when he put his hand inside the top of the jar, it would begin to sing or talk which he loved! As he is now nearly 15 months, he tries to put the shapes in the correct spaces and I can reinforce colours and numbers too. I liked it so much that I have bought one as a christmas gift too!

I bought this toy for my nephew's first birthday. It has turned out to be the ideal gift for his stage of development. He loves taking the lid off, then taking the shapes out of the top and being rewarded by the jar talking /singing to him. He's working up to being able to push the shapes through the appropriate holes in the side of the jar - at present, he can achieve this with a bit of help. A very well-made product, representing excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

We had one of these for my eldest daughter when she was a baby & it developed with her s she grew, from the simple triggering of the songs by putting a hand in the jar & chomping on the shapes through to counting & putting the right shapes in the right holes in order. It continued to be played with by my eldest & youngest until they were about 4, so we got about 7 years use out of it. So it was the obvious choice to buy one as a gift for our new Niece for her first Christmas.

I am really in favour for this toy, as I have brought it about 4 times so far. I have brought this for friends and family as well as my own child all for there first birthday and every time I am told it is the one the child plays with most.It is a really good shape and colour learning toy and with a catchy tune that you will be singing for hours after this toy is really good for the young children.I would defiantly recommend this toy a specially as a fist birthday gift.

I have a very clever, curious 15 month old,she likes this toy but only goes to it to press the nose to make it light up and talk, and to remove the "cookies" inside the jar,she makes no attempt to put the shapes in the holes - I think that is just my little one though and how she plays! The toy itself is well made, the "cookies" are a little cheap looking. Even though it makes noise, it isn't too annoying!! It also has 2 volume settings and am pleased to say low is low!!

I absolutely love this Fisher Price toy. Great quality as usual, it's durable, strong and the singing and music is clear and crisp. You can change the volume of the music to high and low. There is a great little lid that fits perfectly on top. Most importantly my kids love this. I bought one many years ago and it is still going as new to this day. I bought another one recently for my niece's birthday and I am sure she will absolutely love it.

The item is much smaller than it looks in the picture, so much that I did think about it for a minute before purchasing it. I suppose you don't want it too big or tots can't pick it up! But actually, that aside its very colourful and eye-catching which is what you want for a little one. This is a gift so it's not been used yet. It will make a lovely gift. Not sure the child's parents will agree though when they realise it makes noises ...

I have purchased this item for my 7 month old nephew for his 1st Christmas, the item is very pretty and colourful so very eye catching to babies! The cookie jar is bigger than what I was expecting so will be easy for little arms to get right in there arranging all the brightly coloured shapes, the music is entertaining not at all annoying and will keep little minds entertained for a while, I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

I bought this toy for my nephew, I felt like keeping it for myself. I tried out the product before giving it to my nephew and feel in love with it. It has the most adorable giggle when you put your hand in the top, it talks to you when you insert the brightly coloured shapes in the correct hole.Bought whilst on sale, so got good value for money.Fantastic product well done Argos and Fisher Price.

This cookie jar is great quality and nice bright colours, our 10 month old really likes the shapes and is starting to learn to put them inside the jar. The only downside is the annoying loud (even on the quieter setting) songs it sings, if there was more variety that would be good but just 2 settings and 2 songs......I just switch off the sound after a while and she still enjoys playing with it

My son loves this toy who is 19 months. He is starting to manage to put some of the shapes in the cookie jar. He really enjoys when it plays music and dances away when it sings it’s song. It’s a great toy for developing hand eye coordination, problem solving and it also says the shape or number when the child manages to feed the shape through the correct hole. I would recommend this toy.

I have bought this for my son for Christmas this year, he will be 10 months old then. I had this cookie jar for my daughter when she was 7/8 months of age and it was her favourite thing ever!! She played with it every single day at least 5 times and it's a great way to teach shapes to little ones. I hope this is a hit with my son also. I would recommend to everyone with a young child!
