I bought these for my 6 month old even though I did not expect her to actually play with the blocks just yet. Once I opened the amazon parcel and put the box with the building blocks inside, she got really excited and spent over half an hour examining the toys. The blocks are of a great size for small hands to grasp and the box is not too big either and has a rounded shape.Very happy with the purchase, I'm sure my daughter will have hours of fun with this, especially once she'll be able to put the blocks through the correct shape into the box.

I was looking for a block sorter for my 8 month old. He is a big fan of this toy and the blocks are great easy to stack and grab. The colours are good but the only downfall of this product is the lid comes off very easy and within two seconds he lifts the lid off and dumps the blocks all over the floor. I don’t mind as he loves to shake the bucket and see all the blocks fly out. So as a shape sorter activity ya not the best but if your looking for a bucket full of blocks it’s great.

This product is possibly smaller than I was expecting, but that is not a problem for my 9 month old grand daughter. You get 2 of every shape and she loves knocking them together, letting me build a tower of shapes so she can knock them down and putting them in and out of the container. She is starting to get the concept of a shape sorter, but we love the versatility of the toy. Some of the shapes can be a little tricky to get into the corners, but if you soak them first, it is OK.

A smallish container of shapes. A handy size when I think about it. Appealing for youngsters but not as good quality as ones my own children had from years gone by. The lid comes off too easy making it difficult to get my little grandson to understand? He is one year old.The handle is very thin too and not the quality I was expecting from Fisher-Price.The shapes are a good fit in the slots and the whole thing is brightly coloured.Relatively cheap to buy and arrives boxed.

A simple but effective toy, I liked this one because it had the usual shapes of square, circle, triangle but it also had a plus sign and a star shape, our ten month old grand daughter just likes putting the shapes in the bucket and not sorting them at the moment but that will come with time, lovely bright colours and a good sturdy handle, hopefully many hours of play time with this item.

Bought as a gift for my grandson who has just started matching shapes and colours. He has lots of electronic toys with flashing lights and sounds but this is what i would describe as a 'proper old school' toy. He loves putting the shapes through the holes and then taking the lid off to get them out again. This is a great educational and fun toy - without the need for batteries!

I bought this for my 2 year old girl who loves taking out/putting back things, she also loves stacking. This is an essential toy in helping motor skills and early learning of shapes and colours. At this age, they need assistance in where to slot the right shapes until they’re old enough to do it themselves. Overall recommended educational toy

Well like many here have said the top doesn’t close properly, but I do not find this as a problem somehow. You can still put the block into shapes even if it’s taken off from basket which I suppose it’s what is made for. So far the baby does really like this item even though still doesn’t know how to put into shapes. Too small I guess.

It was a gift for my baby nephew & he loves it!! I had a video sent to me wit him playin for ages tryin to put wrong pieces to wrong shape holes so he kept goin until he could do it hehe bless. So great for price. In a shop that would be at least 20quid or under, safe & great quality 5*****

My baby was immediately fascinated with this. She’s not of an age to put the shapes through the holes yet but she loves to just put them in the pot. Worth noting the lid is loose and has no way to clip on which i was suprised at but not a big issues. Would recommend buying

Nice blocks. Got it at less than half price and the blocks seem well made - no sharp edges. Baby likes playing with the blocks though he is still too young to sort them. Big enough for baby to hold n play. The box also holds his other assorted teethers. Recommended them.

Great shape sorter, my 9 month old granddaughter loves this toy and although she's not sorting the shapes properly yet she loves taking them out of the basket and putting them back in again. I'm sure when she's older the basket will also come in useful when playing shop.

Great toy to keep little hands busy! Bright colours are eye catching. The only downside is the yellow lid doesn’t lock or stay on so my twins just remove the lid and cast it aside whilst putting the shapes in the bucket! Still entertains them so it’s not a major issue

My little one loves this. Yes the lid can be taken off easily but at least you don’t have to get the shapes out for them every few minutes! She is happy to sit and put the shapes in and then take the lid off to get them out. It has nice sized, bright shapes.

Bought as my 6 month old is very good with hand eye coordination and handling objects. She's isn't quite at the age where she can sort shapes but loves taking them out and putting them back in the box and once she's older we can use the lid to sort.
