The cork seems to do it's job and keeps things about as cool as Camel Podium Chill bottles. the valve assembly also SEEMS more simple and cleanable, so hopefully it will stay cleaner longer. Time will tell.NOTE: When you upend the bottle on a ride and squeeze for water, the layered plastic and cork seems to get in the way of a solid high-volume delivery of water, which in some race situations can be especially annoying... like trying to squirt water on your back on a hot day, or getting a big gulp without spending too much time out of an areo position or riding one handed on a narrow trail.

True to advertised description. Definitely keep your drink cold! Excellent for cycling
