I made a purchase of these C cell batteries at my husband's request for his Maglite torch. Sadly the correct size was D cell and I made an additional purchase at an alternative store. They perform beautifully as expected. Keeping the original order for a suitable source as I value highly the quality and performance of these items, so rating based on reputation as well as experience.

I was sold these to go into a set of bathroom scales(weight watchers). As it turned out the scales didn't take these batteries at all and was pre-installed with a battery.As for the batteries I have not used them but duracell are a pretty good make I use them all the time and i've never had any problems with them in the past. Not very helpful I know but when your given lemons.....

Yes we all know the name and it has been around for "a little while" so we know what to expect, don't we?Therefore if there is no change in quality the only thing left is price and delivery.Argos had/have the best price i could find and delivery is a matter of collection in my case. So that's it then.. no probs : no contest : Argos for my batteries

You really can't go wrong with batteries of this calibre. I mean come on, if the pink bunnies love 'em then they're good enough right? All jokes to one side, Duracell are the king of batteries, and although other brands have improved vastly over the years, you can't help but get Duracell. I got them on offer, so the price was ok.

I got the Duracell Plus Power C-Batteries -2 pak, on offer @ the time, which was a great saving as I needed 4 batteries to run my new grandsons baby swing.My grandson loves being in his baby swing everyday whether playing,watching tv or drifting off to sleep and we are still on the first set of batteries! Great product.

Excellent system from Argos a lesson to others on how to do it right....My Mothers Birthday and forgot batteries so quick reservation and then straight to store paid in 20 seconds collected a couple of mins later.... Perfect....Very well done Argos great service....

I think Duracell is the best brand of batteries. I use them for my baby swing since 24 th January and they still working. It is one month since I use daily the baby swing without changing the batteries and it's working perfectly.

I had been looking for a CD player for a long time but not until a friend took me to Argos had I seen such ab perfect model. Portable, smart and simple to use. What more could one want. Service also excellent. Thank you.

They do exactly what it says on the packaging. Good product good life as you would expect from Duracell. Still going and keeping two small boys and their trians happy and contented just like the bunnies

Really good batteries that do exactly what they are supposed to and for a long time! They go in my bathroom radio and last for a few months, which is great value at the price I got them for from Argos.

Last longer give better constant power and well dated so a good product all round.Have used other makes but many do not last long or store well once in an appliance such as Door bells torches games.

We use these batteries for our cat's toy, she loves the toy, we love the batteries! Buying them from Argos is so reliable and easy to do, and more economical than elsewhere.

These are longer lasting than most other brands, so I buy these for my sons toys on a regular basis. I am definitely happy with my purchase and would recommend these

The double pack price was as competitive as any no-name brand on the net. The new Argos outlet in our local Homebase just made it so much more convenient to collect.
