I had bought the vintage shabby chic birds bedspread and pillow shams but they were too busy looking for the room. I bought this to lay over the top. It is small for a double but laid over the top with the other bedspread showing underneath and with the original pillow shams it takes it down and now looks very nice indeed. I prefer the spotted side and bought it because of that.

This item was very badly packaged - rolled up, or, to be precise, screwed up in a bundle tightly held together with braiding. It took a great deal of item and effort to iron the bedspread in order to make it look presentable. It would have been more sensible to package it folded loosely. Very disappointing.

really pretty, but should have got a king size even though bed is a double which is quite a high bedstead, but overall is lovely, shame matching pillow cases not available though
