In comparing this tire to a couple other brands, it seems to be a bit thinner. Continental took a different direction with the tread as well, with more nubs on the edges and fewer in the center. You would probably have to use the tires on various surfaces near the limits of traction to see much difference between brands and models. I have not had the tire long enough to assess the durability. The tread nubs individually seem to be very similar to other Schwalbe and Maxxis tires I have as far as height and size.In contrast to their high quality road bike tires (which I have at least 3 different models of), this tire was made in China instead of in Germany. Since I don't know much about other Continental mountain tires,

Bought these to replace the stock tyres on my Trek Roscoe which were on their last legs. I have since bikes to trail centres in the Lake District and Lancashire and they have plenty of grip as a front tyre. I don't have them fitted as a back tyre but I will when they start to lose some of their tread, can't imagine they will be a problem.They are difficult to fit on the bike, but it didn't help that I was fitting it in the middle of winter. Left the fire in my boiler room overnight and had a much easier time when the rubber expanded.

These all-terrain tires are really well made and designed to be used anywhere. I normally ride trail and assault and these really have given me the best of both worlds. The tread is great for the trails and it might just all be in my head but I can feel a difference in the grip that I am receiving on the inclines and declines, it seems like my braking is more effective too. These are also still great on the asphalt, the bike still rolls freely and I haven't noticed any drag and I still have free spin. All around happy!

Fits like a glove!Only thing I had to adjust was angle of the brake pad by maybe a few mm because of the new half inch extra vertical clearance.Im ordering one for the front wheel as I type this out. 38 bucks free shipping!It feels like when I peddle it wants to lift the bike right up, super grippy.Hit trails with it after my install and inspection, and damn its noticeably better for uphill and cornering.

Me and my buddy ride on challenging trails back here. The trails mostly have loose stones and slippery descends. These pair of tires are perfect for negotiating technical terrains with ease. Works great as a tubeless tires. No worries about punctures. The tread pattern provides enough grip to tackle almost any terrains possible. A must have tire set for any trail/enduro riders. I would definitely recommend.

I'd read plenty of reviews prior to purchasing, I knew it'd be a good tire.My only concern was if this was too an aggressive tire needed for my favourite trails with my old hartail.This tire ate up everything I threw at it today. Corners great, rolls nice on packed, super grippy on loose, felt comfortable running it hard over jagged rock. Just bought another for my wife's bike.

Im using it on my super fast e-bike. The tire is really nice, better than the Maxxis that came on my Giant Talon.I can't attest to the durability yet because I just got it and currently we have icy roads. I can't wait to hit some dirt soon! I'll update here if any issues arise.

I received the largest one they make, as I ride a large mountain bike for my size. This is a solid beefy tire!. Tread is great for mild to rough trails. It will still work good on a paved one as well. Make sure to verify the size before purchasing.

These are the absolute BEST tires I could have ever bought for $100 (I purchased 2) the tread is better than the pictures show and look great too. If your thinking about buy some replacement tires for your bike these are the way to go all day!!!

really good all round tire that just keeps on goin and really good on very loose dirt with added metal wired to strengthen and reduce punchers and holes in tubeless easy to fit and convert into tubless thanks for the product at such a low price

Nice for every day use. I needed a replacement tire and this tire is perfect for what I use it for. I do not go on trails or anything, just around town. There is a nice deep tread on them which seems to grip nicely to the road.

Good product at a low price, they are not heavy tires for their diameter, very good grip and braking, I have mounted them and both wheels and they do not weigh heavily, the size of the ball is 61.5mm, I will buy them again.

love them. Side treads are a little big for my bike so itbwikl rub the front derailer when in the lowest gear. There was a part of a trail I've been riding that could never make it up until I got this tire for my rear.

This Continental Mountain Bike Tire is very good quality. It's a nice durable tire for mountain biking. Unfortunately, we didn't get the size we needed so we'll be passing this one along to someone who can use it.

My bike has tubes, can I convert it to tubeless? I have a 2013 GT Avalanche 2.0 Bike (https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Bikes,3/GT/Avalanche-2-0,4676) and I was wondering if this tyre will work. Thank you
