This tyre is a very good quality product as you'd expect from Conti. However, after 30 years of riding bikes and mending punctures, this was the most difficult tyre to fit. Because the tyre is folded into a box the bead has no natural rigidity, so it's already a bit more awkward to get the first edge seated in the rim all round (while the tyre tries to twist itself into knots like a rubber band). The inner tube then goes in fine, but getting the second bead onto the rim is impossible to do with your fingers unless you are Superman. So for the first time ever I was forced to break the golden rule and use the tyre levers to force the bead over the rim.

Have used the grandsport on both my summer and winter race bikes with no problems grip is assured when cornering and in the wet. Fitting can be tricky but if you shape the tyre and leave it in the warm for a while it's much easier and you won't need to commit the cardinal sin and use tyre levers but you will still need good hand strength. Puncture resistancy is excellent(once in 1500 miles). All in all great tyre,excellent value for money and super quick delivery.

My new Equilibrium came with these tyres in May 2017. Had a front wheel puncture in the first week (thorn) but they have been trouble free since then (well over 5000 miles). The wear 'dimples' are still just visible on the back tyre so there may be a few miles in them yet (but I have taken to carrying a spare foldable tyre with me and will change the rear tyre soon). I have not tried other tyres so cannot compare for grip etc - but they do wear well.

Have these fitted to my Specialized Tarmac Disc 2019 which came with 26mm but is harsh on the hills and roads around Leeds. The bike supposedly can only take 30mm which are not easy to find but these fit with plenty of room on the rear and 2mm under the fork. It's made the world of difference. More grip, faster segments and far, far more comfort. Hand numbness is now not an issue, less vibrations up through the drops. Great tyres.

Excellent tyre. I constantly punctured before getting this one, specifically for the extra protection. Done a few hundred KM on it and not loss of pressure either. It doesn’t move around like some tyres I’ve had which is great as this means my bike doesn’t feel like it wants to throw me off at every opportunity!!

I love them, very fast and no puncture in the last 3 months, same commute with other tyres al most weekly flat tyres. Now I'm looking to by same Grand Prix 4000 S II 25 or 28 for long rides on country sides where you need more shock absorption from regional rods (very bad asphalt).

These tyres are excellent value and are my go to tyre for all types of rides from race to training, long or short rides. I came across these by accident as they were standard equipment on my new bike....now I run them on both my bikes and prefer them over GP5000

4 months on and the tyre is still providing good puncture protection and grips well in both wet and dry conditions. great value compared to some higher end models which have no protection and a softer compound. Easy to fit and a reasonable weight for the price.

Covers very durable. It costs a bit to wear them, but it is worth it. It is the second game I ride. The previous one has had an impeccable behavior both dry and wet. The price is unmatched. Shipping has been perfect. Highly recommended.

Excellent attention of the bikeinn staff, punctual delivery, low price on Continental tires with very good grip, long life, safety when going out to Roll because it is impossible for these tires to get punctured / punctured.

The rear end lasted 6,000km was worn, but it was changed because of a monster tear, otherwise you could cycle at least another 1000km. The front man is doing well ... let's see how many kilometers he will ride.

Product tested and in good condition, it is difficult to put them but with patience ......, the transport if that leaves much to be desired, very late I generate the 8/5 -delivered 15/5.

I already used these cameras last season and they went well, so I maintain confidence in Continental. They roll well, good grip and no clumsiness is noticed in competition.

THE MEASURE IS THE IDEAL FOR THE TABLE OF MY BICYCLE AND BY GRIP, COMFORT AND HARDNESS OF THE RUBBER, FOR ME IS THE PERFECT PNEUMATIC. REPEAT INSURANCE WHEN YOU SPEND.
