Not at all easy to get hold of the 26" mountain bike version so good to see them available on Amazon UK.The Kevlar belt is very effective at keeping down punctures but still ride well. These tyres also work fairly well in the wet. They are an extremely tight fit on my Mavic XC717 rims though so I carry a tyre jack. The altrenative is to roll them on with a little washing up liquid or even saliva if nothing else is to hand. I prefer tyres that grip well over ones that wear very slowly. Run mine at 90 psi.

I bought a pair of these two years ago and they are still going strong, with I think only one puncture in all that time. Used to use cheaper tyres and get punctures all the time riding on central London roads every day (lots of broken glass etc). Yes, they're heavier and more expensive than some road tyres and maybe not suited for racing, but for the urban commute these are the bees knees.
