Another Chinese made roof prism binocular..it's actually not that bad. The edge sharpness is very good and compared to the Bushnell engage 8x42 it's much better...although the field of view is considerably narrower than the Bushnell and because it's a roof prism and not a porro prism instrument it can feel a little restricted. Close focus on the this Carson 8x42 i measured as nearer 2 metres than the stated 3 so very useful for close observations but at much longer distances i just found the overall resolution not sharp enough when compared to my favourite porro prism...the details on trees and birds with my porro produced much more definition and was clearer but I know these days most people

Great buy. These binoculars looked good in the write up and even look better now that they are in my hands. I am becoming an armature bird watcher out of my dinning room window. It is winter and I have put up a bird feeder. These glasses are next to the window so I can see the latest new arrival I have seen some great varieties of birds. These glasses are for more than inside they are light weight, durable, qualified glasses to carry with you on the trail. These glasses are rugged and fog and waterproof and at a great price. These glasses have made my bird watching a lot of fun and very rewarding. I remember years ago binoculars that were this good but were very heavy.

These binoculars are awesome especially for the price. I have Swarovski's and a set of Leica Range finding binoculars and these are just as clear and bright as my Swarovski's and Leica's are and also, they are much lighter in weight. The only negative I have is I wish I would have known about Carson binoculars before I spent the high dollars on the Swarovski and Leica binoculars, my wallet sure would have a lot more money in it than it does now.An added bonus is the high quality neck strap, a harness and neoprene case. These are very high quality accessories, not cheap throw ins like most glass companies include.All in all, I could not recommend these more,

I bought these for my husband who is a horse trainer. He uses them to be able to see his horses as he clocks the speed they train. I had previously purchased nikkon 10x42mm thinking more magnification the better, only to find they were too heavy and cumbersome. He is much more happy with the Carson binoculars. He gets the visibility he needs and is comfortable with the light weight, with the added bonus of shock proof duality. Water and fog proof are also awesome features that are helpful perks. I highly recommend them.

This is the first time I've written an unsolicited review but I'm so impressed by this product. I take optical performance seriously and I was doubtful that these relatively unknown binoculars would deliver. But they do! Although I couldn't do a direct comparison with other brands I was able to try models from well- respected manufacturers and the Carsons perform as well, better in some areas, and at less than half the price.

Arrived two days after ordering. Came protected in nice presentable box with case and harnesses. Would have liked lens covers as well.Not really had much time to go out and try it but so far they work as described. Good clear vision. Good size to carry round.So far I am happy with my order.

The quality of the image in the binoculars is vividly bright and sharp. This is my first purchase of binoculars and I am happy that I researched binoculars first before committing to buy. I am very impressed with these Carson binoculars and look forward to a lifetime of use.

Utterly top notch pair of 8x32's with quality every bit as good as my Vanguard Endeavour EDII and Hawke Endurance ED binoculars . If your looking for some top draw compact 8x32 bins then look no further as these really are premium quality in every way ! HIGHLY recommended .

Only just took it out of the box... but the binoculars seem excellent. The image is clear and bright with good colour and depth of field.Not sure yet about the case I'll have to try it out. But as good if not better than some of the more pricy kit out there.

Ordered these for my husbands birthday, for wildlife, motorsport and general use. He is over the moon with them.they are lovely to hold, very strong and robust and have great clarity. We will both make good use of these binocularson our outings...Excellent.

I am very pleased with the quality of these binoculars, at an excellent price. The lenses are fully coated and have good power and field of view. They are waterproof and come with lens covers, strap, and case.

I bought these from amazon warehouse at a considerable discount. I'm extremely pleased with them!! Not to heavy, super sharp clarity. The case and neckstrap are made of quality materials.

Its what I wanted. Great image clarity, bright and excellent depth of field. Easy to use. I do like the case, Excellent value for money when compared with other brands.

I Know there are better binoculars but those are just what I wanted : light, waterproof, HD, sharp images and a very convenient carrying case and... not too expensive !
