I've had my canecreek bar ends for years and when looking to get some for my new 2nd bike I again looked at these, however I risked spending £5 on some others on amazon shipped from hong kong and am not disappointed:High Quality Mountain Bicycle Bike Cycling Handlebar Hand Bar End Grip DB159B00BRBVJUQ£4.19, arrived in 3 weeks, probably better than these canecreeks.

True mountain bikers won't fit this stuff to their bikes but I did (but I'm not a real mountain biker). It's a gimmick but I think they work as they give you extra grip and momentum on hills unfortunately they turn heads and are attracted to bike thieves who nicked my Bar Ends and the bike they were fitted to just a few weeks after fitting them!! Tossers!

I bought these as I'm the sort of rider who likes to get off the saddle when going uphill and these bar ends really give a good position for your hands to pull against. Excellent 'tacky' grip your palm fits comfortably into. I would definitely recommend over the plain metal 'stubbies' people often go for.

very comfortable bar ends, they fit over the ends of the bars, so that your hands (and therefore weight) are not over the front of the bars.they give very good control and make a long ride much more pleasant.
