I have replaced the spout on my Hydrapak bag because it had such a complicated valve that I was exhausted trying to sip through it. On the other hand, with the Camelbak I am delighted, the water flows easily and without obstacles. It also has an opening and closing valve (the yellow piece that you see in the photo) so it does not leak in the least. Of course, you also have to buy the Big Bite valve, which is made of soft silicone, so that the suction is more comfortable and pleasant.

Does the job, cost me less than the bite valve alone at my local shop. It's a part for a sub. 100€ hydration pack, you really can't expect it to be flawless, but it's pretty close. 10/10, would buy again.

I love that this can be shutoff. You can also control flow by partially closing valve. Seems very sturdy, I suspect it will last quite some time.
