I'm an Air Force brat, and was fortunate to travel the world extensively in my younger years. I'm fairly settled now, but still take an occasional trip. I wish I had Bric's Capri 27" Ultralight Medium Spinner back in the day. This is a stylish piece of luggage. It not only looks like you're traveling first class, but function follows form. You get a lot of utility in this compact package.Unfortunately, its 27 x 11 x 19 inch dimensions aren't quite compact enough to qualify as carry-one luggage for most airlines. It will however efficiently store all you need for up to a week in one mid-sized piece of luggage. Once open, each side features a zippered compartment for clothes and whatever else you need to bring with you.On one side there is even a hook for hangers, though you'll still need to fold your garments for transport. Setting a new locking combination from the standard "000" is fairly easy if you follow the directions. Just don't lose that number!Everything about the Bric's Capri exudes quality. From the leather handles and accents, the locking zippered polycarbonate clam shell, the extending handle, and the amazing, smoothly-rolling Japanese Hinomoto Wheels -- this is top-tier luggage. It looks good and works well. If you don't get this for yourself, it would be a generous and appreciated gift for a globe trotter you know.~ Kort

I just returned from a 4-day trip to California. The Bric's 27 inch luggage was the perfect size to fit my clothes and shoes for a 4-5 day trip. It was a girls' trip which meant numerous outfit changes. It had no problem holding 8-10 outfits as well as several shoes. I like the fact that it is divided into two equal compartments vs one huge section. And yes, the wheels are a breeze to spin! In fact, at one point, I had to chase after my luggage as my driveway is steep. So, be careful! But super easy to roll and maneuver around a busy airport! I received several compliments on my luggage. It's definitely a "looker" and will stand out in a sea of black, boring luggage when you are looking for it in baggage claim.I flew out of O'hare which is one of the world's busiest airports and unfortunately, my luggage was scuffed up. Apparently, no matter how expensive the luggage, it will not be tougher than the baggage handlers at O'hare. It does seem like it handled the brute force though - NO crushed areas. Just minor scuffing line: Gorgeous, practical luggage that is pure joy to use but just don't expect it to be able to shield itself from the baggage handlers.UPDATE: have not flown three times with the Bric 27" luggage and am very impressed ! Yes, some scuffing but no cracking whatsoever
