These sticks are great when used gently. They are surprisingly light and stiff at the same time. The stiffness of the carbon is also their weakness, because they break much easier than aluminum poles. For me it was after about 15 times of use so far, once on a debris flop slipped it is like a raw spaghetti. It is therefore luxury poles when every gram counts, for the "normal" use as hiking sticks prefer aluminum, which can be bent back if necessary.

Very light stick, the height adjustment allows you to adapt to the terrain. Tested on an ice climbing approach: 115 cm on the flat, 105 cm on the steep and 125 cm on the descent. The larger pucks for snow have proved effective despite a recent snowfall ... To see the resistance over time ... For the price of the poles, these rpndelles for the snow could be delivered WITH the poles!

... but you have to make the effort to read the documentation to understand the height of the sticks, which we did not do. Too bad that given the fragility of the product - it is a carbon equipment - no transport bag for packing for example has been provided by Black Diamond, especially as the price of sticks would justify it seems to me fully.

I'm very happy with those poles i purchased a year ago for a backpacking trip in Patagonia, 8 days hiking. It's strong and light weight, easy to pack. Im not easy with my gear, so will see with time! but so far so good. I'm 164cm (5,4'') and bought 105 - 125 cm. Fits good

Great product because lightweight convenient space-saving, they can easily slip into a small backpack .A highly recommend for hikes to go down or climb. Very aesthetic I am very very satisfied and I recommended them to my hiking club.

Love these poles: really light but sturdy and well made. Extension range is optimal for me and doubles as my hiking poles and as the setup poles for my Tarptent Notch Li -tent.

I bought the stick for Hike and Fly. Run up "normal" hiking trails and fly down with a paraglider. Pack size and weight were crucial. They are great for that.

The product was highly recommended by hikers. On the first use in a steep and rocky area, a stick collapsed at the weakest point (pushbutton for locking).
