I decided after a long look around for these BBS-53 brake pads from BBB as a replacement for the original Shimano B01S documents. The original documents committed on a descent already fast to grind, lost braking power and produced some time after departure a lot of noise. I have already had to stop many downhills to let the brakes cool down before I could drive on again. Why the BBS-53? - Very good test results in several leading mountain bike magazines. - No braking required (braking is often forgotten after replacing the brake pads). After installation and first test kilometers, I can confirm that these brake pads work better than the original documents and have a significantly higher braking performance.
