The viewing quality is great! Wide field of vision and 7X works great on the ocean,any more magnifacation would cause shaky viewing without digital stabilization.They feel good in your hands and have a good weight to them.I'm not sure if they float(not willing to test).They come with a wide neckstrap from extended wear without chafing,very comfortablt.The only thing that I don't like is the rangefinder.It's too complicated to use!You must know the height of an object to verify range,then adjust the lens dials to focus stadia line.They are an excellent value and a great deal!

For the price these can't be beat. I live on my boat and am out on it quite often. The optics are good. The internal compass is easy to read and definitely accurate so getting a bearing is no problem. The range finder function probably wouldn't be used often but it does work if you know how.

Such a clear view, and not afraid to take on kayak trips, though probably bulkier than I needed, but the night view is worth it! Appears to be a great quality product, and researching other users seems to confirm this.

These are rugged, waterproof and have great optics. I really like the compass bearing feature. They are a great value for the money.

The range finder is not very useful, but overall, this is a very good binocular for the price. I would recommend.
