These are nice binoculars to use when sailing and needing a compass heading. Theyare heavy but it helps stabilize them. The manual is useless. Does not tell youwhere to put the batteries ( both go on the side with the compass light). Had tocall to find out how to use the rangefinder. Customer service does not seem toknow much about the binoculars either. However, once all of that is sorted outthey work fine. They also come with a nice case. Collimation may not be accurate..I did get some eye strain when used for extended periods. Given the price rangeI still think they are a good value.

I was needing something that would give me an accurate bearing for an object in the distance. This set of binos have been doing a great job for me over here in Afghanistan. I would purchase another set if something was to happen to these.
