A little thinner material than I would have liked.. but it's a bit stretchy which is comfortable and the sewing seems decent enough. I have a smaller bust compared to hip/ waist size, and find it's a little too big there, but that's hardly the manufacturers fault.. it's just how standard sizing goes... If you're smaller up top like me, order the size for your chest and/or waist measurements.. not you hip measurement.. I think a small would have fit me better had I done this having received the garment. .. it's just so hard to tell when you don't know how much a garment will stretch.. this one has some stretch, so IMO you can order your actual size and it will fit.

Lovely dress! I really wasn't expecting much but am pleasantly surprised. My only issue is the size. I am normally a fourteen but purchased the sixteen due to my size being out of stock. I've found that it just fits my chest and if I bought my normal size, it would probably have been a bit too tight. It's also a bit shorter than I was expecting, which actually works out better for me as I like showing a bit of thigh (I'm 5'4), but I just wanted to mention it just in case it's too short for some.

I am quite a big build (38" and 5'11) but this dress is nice and stretchy so it works. Even though I bought an XL it does lift quite high as a result. Goes lovely with some blue suede shoes and can be made to look quite formal. For £23 I was quite pleased, in fact I bought 2. Only down side is that it's not lined and make sure you use a colour catcher the first couple of times you wash it because the blue dye will run into the white collar.

i like this dress, it looks really good. i might have to return it though.. the material IS stretchy like a previous reviewer commented, but it felt like it didn't really like to stretch. it wasn't easy to stretch like tights or leggings or vests. this made it squeeze my back, and trying it on hurt my back a bit. i'm still undecided right now, because every other doll collar dress i've seen on amazon looks too decorated, in my opinion.

Style was lovely and very flattering on the waist (I'm a 16) but slightly too tight across my chest (I am rather busty-H cup-usually 18/20). Nice material and felt comfortable to wear. Really debated about keeping it - 1cm bigger across the chest would have made it 5stars. At 5'11 length was a good 2" above my knee but OK as long as don't lean forward or get a gust of wind!

I bought this in red and loved it so much I bought it in other colours as well! Super flattering and a nice material. My only issue is that when washed, the colour ran into the white collars (items were washed as instructed), but the collars are only lightly tinted so it's difficult to notice unless you were looking for it. I'm planning to buy more soon. Speedy delivery.

Finally arrived- I'm usually an odd size that can fit into 14- 18 size clothing so was pretty nervous buying it but ordered L (size 16 i think). Slightly tight but I think its due to the stretchy material. I'm a massive fan of velvet but sometimes find it very shiny thankfully this isn't :) Really happy with it might be ordering it in a few more colours :P

I am happy to say that I have found a dress at better quality than most shops. When arrived, the dress was well packaged and not damaged. I tried it on and has a comfortable fit with a slightly strechy fabric. The dress coller did feel quite papery, but easy to get used to. I have washed it and worn it and is great to wear on a day out. Thanks Amazon.

Was so impressed with this dress, at first I wasn’t expecting it to be that great but my expectations were blown out of the water!! I would definitely recommend this to someone looking for a dress for Halloween, or even if you’re just looking for a smart looking dress in general, this is the one for you :)

It's a little on the large size.. I'm a 12 up top and a 14 below but this is still a little big. But then I'd rather it a little big then a little too small! It's so cute and I'm really surprised at how thick/good quality it is for the price! I would definitely recommend it. :)

Gorgeous dress, stretchy and very flattering on a curvier figure, but I think it's probably the kind of thing that would suit anyone. I've been wearing a jumper over it and letting the collar stick out for a very autumnal look. I love this dress, highly recommend!

Needed urgently for a play costume, so ended up getting a larger size than usual (due to availability) and it fits OK, but a little lose as expected. It appears to be pretty true to size.Daughter who hates dresses does love this one and will wear after the play.

THIS IS AMAZING!!!! Im top heavy with a slim (ish) waist and it fits perfectly all over , fast delivery, great packaging and very cheap yet the material feels more expensive its quite heavy and feels nice when on. Very happy with it

The dress is absolutely perfect. Brought it in the same size I am usually (UK 16) and it fits fine. It is quite fitted at the top which I didn't think I would like but it happens to be very flattering. Would recommend to everyone.

This dress is perfect. It has a very flattering fit and the material is a bit like swimming costume material so it doesn't collect lint! The length (at least on me, 5'2") is just above the knee so it's not too long or too short.
