This garment got an immediate good response from my teenaged daughter, who says it makes me look tall!The purple, which I ordered, is more vibrant than expected--which is a good thing. The fabric is soft and gauzy but not sheer; the neckline is a little lower and wider than I am used to, but it still covers and looks respectable, without gapping. I was not trying for a tent-like, oversized gown and after reading the reviews I selected a medium, hoping it would fit more like a simple, traditional garment. It does.The sleeves are a little long but can easily be rehemmed and the armscye is sufficient but not too generous; the sleeves are cut closer to the upper arm than the model photo suggests.The

I've ordered 3 of these dresses now in 3 different colours and they are so comfy! They are well made, the cotton is soft, they wash really well, don't shrink and don't lose colour. They are warm as the material is a nice quality and as l wasn't sure about sizing (l often take 2x due to large arms and hips) so l ordered the largest size a 5x. I am 5.5 and 230 with a pear shape. After washing them, they are loose and flowy, didn't (shrink) lots of room but a tiny bit long (not a big deal for me). I could definately have ordered a 4x and it would have been fine too but l like lots of room and that they're so comfy. They were sold from a company called Hommee CA.

I ordered 5XL after reviews. I agree it's probably around size 22/24 size and reaches the floor at side (I'm 5ft 7). I'm size 18/20, large bust, and this was very loose on me, wide across shoulders and ample room around bust. Also plenty of space at arm holes. Long in arms, but I can fold back. I was concerned it might shrink on washing, so went larger. I've now washed at 40 degs fast wash and it came out fine, no shrinkage and no need to iron. Very happy with this, a cheery cherry red, fabric nice and thick, cheesecloth feel. I'm buying another a size down, could probably go down 2 sizes, but I'm wearing as sleepwear so like the loose fit.

The size chart gives no ease in wearing this: I first bought a 2x by measurements but it was tight across the bust and in upper arms. To get the look in the model go up 2-3 sizes! I reordered this Nice caftan in 5x. In the pretty red and its loose and comfortable. Not too long but just a little on my 5'4" body.The fabric is nice medium weight crinkle cotton that is opaque. I'm wearing it at home. I really love this caftan and will get in other colors. Realize cotton shrinks before you keep one that fits too close. I washed mine and put it in dryer and shrunk it about 3-4" length wise and bust and arm length. Cool water & no heat!

This dress is a great buy , I wanted a dress thats comfy ,looks nice and simple , and this is it ! Its so nice I've ordered 2 more , you can wear them around the house , going out , the fit is extremely generous , I am a 20 so I bought a 4 xl , which was big but wearable, the ones I ordered I decided to go down to 3xl , which is just right , but I reckon I could wear a 2 xl , but I'm sticking to 3xl.They are also a lovely fabric , thick enough that you can't see through it , but soft to the touch, with a slight crinkle effect ,I rolled the sleeves up , they have pockets on the sides ...... A real must !

I absolutely love love these dresses, I bought three, red mauve and black. Beautifully simple in design, the fabric is gorgeous feels soft and comfy and moves beautifully. I am 5’7” size 20/22 and I bought size 5X - Feels like volumes of fabric loose and flowing, almost roomy enough for two! Perfect little side seam pockets and to my delight long enough to reach just below my ankles (any longer I would be tripping up!). Saving them for next Spring/summer so don’t know how they will wash but am very confident they will wash and dry perfectly if I opt for cool/cold short wash then line dry on a hanger.

I love this kaftan, bought my daughter one too, so useful first thing while getting breakfast etc....not see through so you can even answer the door in it, it is smart and stylish. I cant wait for 6pm when the day is done and I put it back on to relax. It's a tad larger than the size, I bought a 16 and could easily have gone down to a 14 as it is quite baggy, so my next one will be a size smaller. It's easy to wash, hang up and doesn't need ironing, and doesn't crease too much when packed in a suitcase. perfect for holidays, lightweight and cotton, cool for hot weather. what's not to love?

I absolutely love this, it’s so easy to wear, so stylish, & the colour (purple) is gorgeous. A real plus point is that it has deep side pockets. I intend to buy more & wish there were more colours - like old gold for instance, or indigo. I am not young & have sensitive skin, & this provides coverage without weight. On the other hand I’ve found that I can wear a toning thermal top underneath if it’s a bit chilly. I’m size 8 - 10, height 5’.4” & bought small, & it’s perfect & so flattering.The cherry on the cake, such a reasonable price.And it washes like a dream - no ironing

Love the comfort factor, and that fact that it's really generously sized. I got the 5XL and am a pretty hefty size 24, but I could probably have got away with the 4XL. It's very long on me, but since I'm only 5'4", that's normal, and I can easily take it up. The "purple" is quite reddish, almost the colour of red wine - a lovely colour, and not see-through at all. Plan to use it as a summer dressing gown.Despite the Italian ? sounding name and looking like it ought to be Indian cotton, it's actually made in China, in case that matters in your purchasing decision.

Vibrant orangey red coloured 100% cotton fabric.A bit like cheesecloth, so it's nice and cool during hot weather.I usually wear a size 20 top and a 16 or 18 bottom, so Im not a standard size.I ordered the one to fit size 20.I think I could have got in an 18, but I've kept this one because I want it just for lounging about the house.I did a bit of customising, too.I shortened the sleeves, put a slit at each side seam and turned the hem up an inch.It is very roomy.The pockets are handy for keeping a tissue or hanky in, too.

I wanted something that looks like street clothes and that I could pop on over my nightgown until I'm ready to shower and dress. It's perfect. My only issue is that I wish it had a round neck so nothing shows, but I solved that problem with a brooch. It fits nicely, the purple color is good, the fabric quality seems good, the sleeves stay rolled up and don't slide down and it accommodates my paunch yet gives a nice, smooth line. I want to get the black also, but it isn't available with prime, so I think I'll hold off on that.

This dress arrived quickly,and is just right--lightweight,but one may use a shawl or scarf with it-- and it is not 'see-though'so can be worn without an under- slip in hot weather. The colour is not the convential purple staed,but is a very soft and pleasant shade--I find it usefully full,as I have a colostomy,and need to disguise that.The dress is comfortable to wear, crease resistant,so ealily laundred--I am very pleased with it--and with the very reasonable price for such good quality cotton.

I like really loose fitting clothes so ordered 5xl. I am size 24/26, 5ft 7inch tall and it is a good generous fit not clinging to my “Lumps & bumps” at all, and it almost touches the floor. The colour is a lovely rich purple and the material reminds me of my cheesecloth tops that I loved to where in the 1970’s. The price makes this excellent value making this altogether a great purchase. I have just ordered another of Romacci’s long dresses with the hopes that it will be just as good.

I love this Indian dress. The material is so light, yet not see-through. It seems to capture my own warmth and keep me comfortable in warm and cool weather. It is very comfortable to sleep in. Washes fine in permanent press setting washing machine. It dries perfectly on the knit cycle in the dryer. I threw out a lot of my dreary old nightgowns and now want more sleep dresses. I wanted it loose and ordered 4x, as described in the measurement chart. I usually wear a size 14.

Bought two of these last August in different colours They were very comfortable to wear but both have now developed many holes in the outer layer. This is the reply from the retailer:The product is thin, with thinner threads,“After a long time of wearing and washing, the thread may be brokenSo this happensThank you for your understandingThank you”I don’t understand and I am not happy with the holes that appeared in both dresses since August 2020.
