Although some buyers have had a poor experience purchasing these dresses, I nonetheless took a chance and ordered both the chocolate and yellow (admittedly with a little trepidation) and anxiously awaited their arrival. I need not have worried. Both dresses arrived in perfect condition. Yes, they were creased, but that is the nature of the fabric and having left them hanging the creases are dropping out nicely. The chocolate is a nice, rich brown and the yellow is exactly as I expected it to be - not a true sunflower yellow, but more of a slightly mustard shade (the pictures don't do the colours justice). I am a size 8 and 5'5" - these do not ridiculously bury me,but I do intend to shorten the underskirt part of the dress to just below the knee as it is currently sitting at calf length and just feels a tad too long. I'll then either wear them with capri leggings underneath to dress them down for my trip to Malaysia, or with simple court shoes or sandals and they'll be perfectly acceptable for work. If I had to be picky, the neckline of the right-hand side leading down to the buttons is more curved than the left and this is evident when it's on. It looks a little like a fault as opposed to an intended design of the neckline - both dresses are the same and so I guess that this is the manufacturing process - but I love them so much that I can completely live with this. I'll most definitely be buying more colours as they are so relaxed and comfortable, yet versatile too. Love them!

I ordered a larger (largest) size than recommended because I wanted a loose fitting dress that flowed. However it was way too large in the shoulders and long in the sleeve, had to turn it back a couple of times. The next size down should sort me out though. I think in a brighter colour, it would've looked so unflattering, but it being black made it look too much because it was too large. In my correct size I reckon it'll look lovely in black.Mom tried it on, liked it but unfortunately she has put weight due to steroids. She now roughly a size UK 22/24. The bust was too tight on her but apart from that she liked it too. The sleeves are a perfect length on her.I can't help her out as this is the largest size they do and she needs to stay on the steroids for a while longer. Tempted to hang on to it untill the time mom drops her weight but she's not so sure.The fabric is better than I expected. A lovely lightweight crepe cotton over a smooth slighlty stiffer cotton, this will no doubt soften after washing. Flowy, the sleeves are not lined which keeps it summer weight.I want to reorder for my size plus in other colours. Comfortable to wear, would be great in the warmer weather but probably not scorching heat because of the sleeves. Very modest dress with a little something. Oh, had pockets which is always a plus.

I'm a size 16 so I ordered a 2xl which is a little bit big but better that than too small. I'm not sure whether a size down might have been too small. Reading the reviews, I was unsure what size to order as everyone seems to have different experiencies with the sizing. As these dresses come from China, I think the sizing is the luck of the draw to be honest. The dress itself is very nice, I'm happy with mine. Yes it does come creased but that is soon sorted and who can grumble for the price! The length of my dress from shoulder to the longest point is 49" and the sleeve length is 24". The circumference of the widest part of the sleeve on my dress is 16" I've had a look at the stitching and ok,some parts aren't quite as good but you really have to look for faults, well on mine anyway, I can only review the my dress. The material is rayon but it's is a nice soft fabric. The top part of the dress is a different material to the under layer, more like a polyester cotton, nice though. I chose the dark red colour and it is a nice dark red. I would have no problem ordering another in a different colour, just don't expect 100% perfection, the price reflects that.

I was a little apprehensive before this arrived, after reading the previous reviews, but I needn't have been. The dress is beautiful. I'm 5ft 5" tall, plus size 22, not big busted but I have a broad back. This dress looks amazing on. It comes to my ankles which is just right, and drapes beautifully. The sleeves are a tiny bit too long but I wear them rolled up so no big deal, and if I wasn't so lazy I could shorten them but why bother. The material is really nice, a sort of crepe over dress and the under dress is a kind of polycotton. I love everything about this dress, so much so I ordered it in yellow, which is also a good fit and perfect in every way. It's more a light mustard yellow than a primrose yellow,but it's nice. I'd like the other colours, but will have to save up for those. I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to conform to the norm. Be you, be different. I would recommend this particular seller too, as I did notice some sell this dress and it's not totally as described, but from this seller it's all spot on. Very very happy!

If you like these dresses be very careful who you buy from. Just had a bad experience with another seller because I wanted one in blue. This is a lovely dress., the style is very flattering. It's not linen but the underdress IS cotton so it hangs nice with a bit of weight and is comfortable against your skin. The outer fabric is not as matte or thick as it looks in picture but it is nice. Size is good although it seems to loosen a bit on wearing so might have gotten away with a smaller size, but I wanted a loose, comfy dress for summer and around the house. I'm 5 feet tall and it comes right down to my ankles, but I like dresses long. I got a brown one from a different seller which also fitted well but was too long.But even taking it to a tailor for hemming still left me with a good priced well fitting dress, so no complaints. I would recommend this seller for this dress but it's just a shame they don't do it in blue.

Dress is super high quality, lightweight, comfy fabric, a bargain at this price. Should be noted that (as described) the buttons are a detail and don't undo. Mine was a long-sleeved version & there are small buttons on the cuffs, which do undo. Small concealed pockets, useful for a phone or small purse. I read the reviews that said the dresses size large but went for a 4X anyway (I'm a size 18). My mistake: I definitely should have gone for a 3X, possibly even a size down from that. I will wash it on hot and see if it shrinks a bit! Having said that, I'm planning on running a bit of elastic around the waist to pull it in a bit so I'm very happy with the product.Should be noted that it doesn't have a waist so isn't quite as flattering as in the pictures. (Well obvs, model is a size 10!) Overall advice, dress would be cheap at twice the price, but definitely order a size down.

I love this style of linen dresses and this was my first online purchase of such an outfit. It is a lovely flowy dress and it falls beautifully. I bought the smallest size available and I am a size 6-8 in dress sizes. This dress does hang kind of loosely on my frame but I believe it is supposed to look that way. I wore a chunky necklace and sandals to accessorize it and it made for quite an eye-catching ensemble. It does take a while to iron out the creases though and if you are packing it for holiday, I would recommend that you iron it at home before packing it and then freshen it up with a quick press again at your destination.My only gripe is that despite it being a lined dress,it is fairly see-through and I had to wear a short underskirt to make it work. I still love it loads and I bought the red one as well. Very happy with the purchase.

I've been so pleased with this beautiful floaty dress, that I'm definitely going to order one in another colour. My advice is to order one slightly larger than you would normally, because the fabric shrinks a little after the first wash, after that, it keeps it's size. Thanks to previous reviewers, I ordered mine in XXL, I am a size 14 and although it was too big when it arrived, after washing it now fits beautifully and is still loose and floaty just as I wanted. The stitching is all well done and all the joins in the fabric are perfect....no odd hems, or mismatched areas. The colour has stayed true after washing, I have machine washed it on a cool setting and it dries very quickly on a hanger,and then doesn't need ironing! It is such a flattering style and is suitable for any occasion, I can't wait to Order another in a different colour!

This dress is a joke! It arrived very creased but felt very scratchy when I tried it on - although it did fit. So I followed the care instructions and gave it a gentle wash at 30 on the wool programme. Have just taken it out of the machine to put on a hanger to dry and I doubt it would fit my 9 year old granddaughter. Don't know whether I can return it as I've washed it - but I will if I can.Amendment to my earlier review:I posted my previous review having just washed this dress. However, once it was dry, it seemed to stretch a bit, so I thought I'd try ironing it. The second photo shows the finished result! The dress is now soft and floaty so I will be keeping it after all!Only 4 stars because it's not easy to iron as you need to do the two layers separately and please note - use a warm iron (not hot).

I spent a lot of time reading all the reviews for this dress to work out the best size. I am currently about size12- 14 and 5 ft tall, so I bought3xl and hoped for the best. Ok, so it reaches to just above the ground- perfect for me and is very comfortably generous. It could have been a size smaller but I prefer looser fit, rather than too tight, especially in the heat. I washed it before wearing, temp 30 quick wash 1200 spin normal conditioner and it was perfect, no shrinkage and did not fall apart. The material is labelled as viscose, creases when you sit down and all creases fall out when you stand ut. It feels so lovely and airy when walking: I wear it with a small cross- body bag,over size necklace and trainers. Total bliss. Just ordered another romacci but in army green.

I wanted to use this dress as a prayer dress for fasting days, it’s got a light, flowing material, it is very flattering and makes me appear taller as well, very comfortable and fits very well, I got a size medium, I’m only 154cm tall (5ft 1in) weigh around 11st 6lb and have a larger bust, so in smaller busted women, it might be quite baggy in that area, although you could wear a vest underneath. But it’s a plus for me since it’s difficult to find clothing if you’re shorter and bigger busted. It comes down to the bottom of my ankles. It is baggy on me, but it’s what I was looking for, if you want something tighter fitting I would buy a size smaller. It arrived earlier than expected.I would definitely recommend this dress, there are so many ways you can style it.

Hmm I’m still not sure about this dress. Whilst it fits nice the arms would be better off or rolled/pushed up as they aren’t quite long enough.It’s one of those dresses that crease every time you sit down. Definitely needs ironing before use.It’s not as long as I had hoped for. It comes to mid calf not to your ankles like the picture suggests.The picture also suggests that the layers are all of the same colour tone but they are not. I ordered the army green, the top layer is brighter and the under layer is a more dull/lighter tone more army than the top layer.The material is like crepe paper for the top layer and a thicker cotton under layer I think it is.Overall it’s ok but nothing to getexcited about.

Overall the dress is a lovely design but it does come up very small across the shoulders and bust which is why i ordered the largest size possible. I would have kept the dress but the underskirt is a different fabric and colour to the top dress and therefore looks strange, and i can not look past this. I previously ordered a navy blue via my son's account and it actually turned up as royal blue and i was unable to get it over my shoulders at all so i guess it is pot luck if the sizes are as stated. I have not been able to return it as the sellers did not respond, but I loved the design and decided to try again with black. but due to the colour difference i will return. Disappointed

I bought the 5XL. I'm a size 18-20, I swell up due to poor health. I also have a bit of a tummy.The dress has a FULL sleeveless underdress. From shoulder to ankles. The top layer is attached by collar and shoulders to underdress.I'm 5ft 2in and the 5XL comes to my ankles. It also hides my tummy and has a little flare the the skirted area. Arms are unlined and loose fitting with button cuff.Perfect for a summer loose fit cool dress.My only negative is the top layer has pulls in it. Do NOT cut them off,use a very fine sewing needle to pull them through to the back so they dont show. Or, live with it or return dress.

I’m a size 12/14 , 5’2”. I purchased a size xl. The colour is exactly what I expected. Rich maroon colour. It was quite wrinkled when it arrived so I machine washed it in cold water and hung it to dry. It only required minimal ironing. The fit is perfect for me. Length mid calf in the front slightly longer in the back. I have broad shoulders and this wasn’t too tight. Love it. It’s simple and casual but can be dressed up with accessories. Am going to purchase in another colour for sure. I wanted something like this for a meditation retreat I’m going to. It will be perfect with sandals or boots.
