As with all 3 Legged Thing products, it is extremely well engineered and perfect for the job intended. The lever is quick and easy to operate, and fully adjustable to work with other plates. The clamp will fit to a 3/8" thread straight out of the box, though you'll need an adaptor to attach it to 1/4". The plate is solidly built and includes security screws for added safety; though these can be removed if you use a Peak Design Capture camera clip.

Bought to convert my Sirui ball head to quick release Arca-Swiss. Very simple to fit but I needed to apply heat to Sirui to release the thread lock on the bolt. all you need to do is place the head mount down in a couple of centimetres of boiling water for a minute or so and you can then unscrew the bolt using a good quality hex key
