This is a neat, well made and colourful noisy toy for small toddlers, which sits nicely on a kitchen or living room table and provides long lasting fun and engagement.The little pink hippopotamus can be tipped, or unceremoniously dumped, onto the adjacent swing, and with the sound turned on, various pieces of commentary and music are triggered. Thankfully for adults, there are two volume levels for these sound effects. I was impressed by the sounds and spoken words, as there is a good variety and they are nicely done, in friendly, clear voices.Both the main unit and the separate hippopotamus figure are sturdy and can stand a bit of inevitable mistreatment by toddlers. Vtech Zoomizooz Swing with a hippo toy which is one of the 24 characters available to collect from this range.The swing has a fully working swing and a hippo launcher, it plays music, sings a introduction song, speaks to the child and flashes lights and invites playEach press of the flashing red button brings a new song or sayingDont worry mums and dads there are 2 volume levels, no mute unfortunately.Putting the hippo into the multizone plays a saying or a song, turning the hippo around makes a new sound each timeThe launcher flicks the hippo from the multizone onto the swing which amuses my little grandson no end.If it is left alone, after a few reminders to play it will switch itself off,

This little, realtively inexpensive toy will make a sweet addition to any toddler's arsenal of playthings. Other reviewers have noted that the flick-switch to catapult the hippo into the swing is pretty much hopeless, but my firend's toddler didn't seem to mind over much, as it did result in a few giggles! The USP is the range of sounds (thankfully, the volume is adjustable!) and sound effects when the Hippo is placed on the swing.All in all, a very Happy Hippo indeed!

Although this item indicates ages 1 - 5 it is, in my opinion more appropriate to the younger of this range - possibly 1 - 2 yrs.It is very colourful and includes 50 or so songs, words, phrases, but again the voice is extremely young childlike. There are many other Zoomi Zoo animals to collect, individually, so could become a sizeable collection.Overall, good for very young children but a little disappointing for the older child in the target age range.

Product is great, good quality thick plastic. I know my child is going to love playing with this with the rest of her zoomizoos sets. I managed to get this item at such a fantastic price too, which makes it good value for money. The plus to this product is there is zero assembly required so you can take it straight from the box and play.

My daughter loves the zommizoos and I already had the hippo and tree for her. When she had this at Christmas she was so excited. All the zoomizoo animals interact with the crocodile and if you push his mouth the little animal slides down the tail. Very good value for money.

A lovely little toy but probably need more characters etc to really bring play to life.. Would of been nice if they included two characters to play together as i feel one isolates their imagination. (especially if you have two children of similar age)

an adorable little toy from the wonderful Vtech toy company-a simple weighty quality mechanism inside and on the lever which makes for a durable entertaining solid toy as always-children love this range.

Amazing my lo love zoomizoos she has the treehouse and took an interest in trains so this was a perfect present wish it was slightly longer to add more animals on but overall very happy
