My 7 month old son loves this toy! It is easily accessibly for him because all of the triggers for the sounds and lights are well positioned and far enough apart that clumsy baby hands can grasp, push and pull them easily. There are 2 different volumes, which is handy when he's using it sitting up, vs during tummy time, because I don't want it quite as loud when it's close to his ears. In addition to the volumes, there are 3 different settings for the sound effects; music, driving and animals. My only criticism of the animals is that the frog is referred to as 'froggy' and the bird, 'birdie' - I'd much prefer the correct names when referencing animals. I really like the introduction to the emergency services, with the sounds and an explanation that they're on their way to help. The images and colours are all bright and interesting enough to keep my son focussed on the toy, but the mirror would benefit from being able to tilt so that he can actually see himself in it, and I'd like it if the indicator or steering wheel triggered left and right statements, because aside from arrows on the steering wheel there is no mention of directions. This is definitely a robust toy, which I can see my son enjoying for quite some time because I can vary the settings to keep him interested, and due to the buttons at the top being inaccessible for him at the moment, and therefore something that he'll grow into.

I purchased this item for a child who will be 9 months old at Christmas and another child for their 1st birthday. On unwrapping the boxes the first thing I notice on the box, nice and clear, in large typeface is "suitable for children from 24-36 months". This obviously will not go down well with the new, rather anxious, parents of the younger child so I will have to keep it till he is older and they are more relaxed. Annoyed that this information is not clear on this site, but also note that it is described as suitable for children 12 months and older on both Argos and John Lewis websites.Annoying as it looks like a really good toy and I can see from reviews here that people have given these to much younger children, but when you are buying for other people's kids it can make you appear rather cavalier about thier precious offspring's safety...

I have purchased this for my 5-month-old son, I didn't realise it was meant for children from 12 to 36 months. But I must say I don't regret getting this now as my son loves it! Obviously he doesn't understand what it is yet, but I sit him on my lap and put the wheel in front of him holding it, or I put it on his high chair table when I need to entertain him through feeds, and he loves watching the lights and hearing the different sounds, he also turns the wheel and pulls the accellerator, he's so funny to watch! I would definitely reccomend this for all children, obviously later on he will get to grips with what it actually is, but for now it's still a great way to keep him entertained!

I bought this for my son, he is obviously to young (4 month) but still it's a toy that we can play together, he loves the lights, sounds and musics. My wife said I bought this for me but eheh it is very fun to play and I think that this will develop my sons abilities in due time. Any kid will surely love this (and any father). Well built and working fine, perfect size also. I think it didn't bring any batteries along, takes 3 AA I think. So far after almost a month of moderate use still has power. Very nice this, I had seen this many times and then I saw a promotion and finally bought it, don't regret at all :) love it.

I was prepared to see it will show signs of wear, surprised to find it is in a very good condition, it just a little bit dusty and it looks brand new after I give it a wiped. No fading colour, exactly same as show picture. Works very well after I put batteries in, lots of songs and speakings so my son won't get bored on it easily, it will turn itself off when not being touch for a while to save batteries, survives from lots of patting, dropping and kicking, happy with it.

Bought this for my 16 month old little girl as she loves seeing Cars on the tv, great learning toy. She loves how the traffic lights light up, she can turn the steering wheel and beeps the horn, there an indicator and a little wing mirror which she loves as she can see herself in it. Brilliant melodies which teaches you about driving. Two volumes on it which is great. Would highly recommend this toy to all my family and friends with young children

This was bought a replacement for the original Vtech driving game which took an unfortunate swan dive off the high chair tray onto a tiled floor and was no more. It has an excellent range of songs and a rather great monkey noise. The only thing I would like to know is where did Vtech got the slightly sozzled, middle aged tramp with the 60 a day rothmans habit to do the voice? My 2 yr old loves it so who am I to argue !!! Well done Vtech !!

My little boy adores this toy, even before he was sitting he would play with it on his tummy. He can turn the wheel and hits the buttons. Alot of complaints about the man not being able to sing... this is true he is pretty dreadful but it's a baby's toy!! My little boy doesn't know any different! Lots of little gadgets on it to pull at and twist, lots of buttons to push and it flashes. For the price, a good buy and my sons favourite toy!

The toy turned out less entertaining than I expected after reading reviews. It's a bit chaotic, mix of sounds, songs, noises. My 20 months old boy doesn't seem to be too keen on playing with it, just presses buttons now and than to hear some music and than leaves it. It's very good quality though, so maybe it will just be one of those toys children have to "grow to". At the moment just a little bit boring.

Bought this for my little one and she absolutely adores it! She will spend an extended amount of time sitting with it, pressing buttons, ‘driving’ etc. It’s easy to use, light for little ones to pull around, and makes lots of noise - always a hit with my children! My older child also likes using it to role play that she is driving in her car, so is a great toy with lasting fun!

Another great product from VTECH Although my baby is still really small he absolutely loves this toy and gets ever so excited when it’s taken out at play times Got lots of buttons and stuff to press and move about Especially good as it lights up too A bit pricey but as my baby played with his cousins I knew I had to get one for him too

This is a great little toy at a good price. The only negative I would say is the male singing voice is awful, it has my husband and I in fits of laughter everytime it comes on!!The music is good and has enough variety that it doesnt drive you nuts. Lots of buttons to press, flashing lights and songs to keep your little one occupied for ages!

Have to say that I'm really pleased with the Tiny Tot Driver. It's for my Grandson, for Christmas. I must admit that I played with it for a while, so I think that he'll love it. All the sounds, lights and buttons, etc., will keep him busy for most of the day..............not too sure his parents will be pleased though!

This was bought for a 9 month old boy, but his 6 month girl cousin enjoyed it just as much. Personally I am not a big fan of bulky plastic toys, I tend to go for more durable/versatile toys, but this one has lots of lights/sounds/buttons, so it was not a bad choice and it made a big impression on this age group.
