Vogel's WALL 3215 - TV wall mount bracketIf you've got an expensive TV, it's worthwhile getting a decent TV wall bracket. This is a sturdy, functional, tilt-only TV wall bracket for 32-55" TVs weighing up to 30 kilos; that makes it perfect for my 49" LG TV weighing 9 kilos and costing the best part of £700 which I want to make very sure doesn't plunge to the floor! The mount can tilt up to 15 degrees forwards, rather than simply sitting flush to the wall. I'm reviewing the tilt only bracket for up to 55" tvs.The other week I had one of the vogel swivel brackets for the same size TVs which I installed and while it presented two key problems, they were solved and the TV mount still continues to amaze me. Its flexibility in tilting, swiveling the TV is unrivalled, it is not an exaggeration to say that it changes the way you watch TV.Why am I bringing this up on a tilting version of a TV mount, you ask? Well, because this one that I'm reviewing doesn't swivel or move away from the wall. And presumably you're reading this review at a point where you're making a choice of "which mount do I need" and my suggestion to you is that you almost always wouldbe far better getting one that swivels unless you really know that your room shape will not benefit from it. For example a long room where nobody ever sits side on from the TV.Anyway moving back to this product. It's incredibly well made and sturdy and surprisingly comes in a much smaller box than I expected, not a lot bigger than your lower leg (I literally can't think of any other way to describe the shape).Assembly and installation is a breeze IF you know what you're doing with the drilling into the wall bit - a top tip here is making sure you have the right drills and fixings at hand especially if your wall is "weird".Another top tip is to get the height right - google it and measure it and mark it and check it. A TV too high will strain your neck and bug you enough that you'll hate it.Overall I'm impressed with the quality although not surprised, because vogels do seem to deliver decent robust products at a slightly higher price than the budget ones, but you get what you pay for.

I've wall mounted a few screens / TVs now, and I'm impressed with the design, fit and finish of Vogel's kit. It's better made that just about anything else I've seen at this price point and it was relatively straightforward to get installed and setup.Like all brackets, the instructions (and the suitable applications / installations) could be a little bit clearer. I would hope that 'common sense' would guide anyone to installing into a solid wall (brick, block, etc.) or directly into stud partitions supports (the wooden sections onto which plasterboard is then mounted.Yes, you can get all manner of 'fancy' mounts and fixtures that'll allow you to fix this bracket into a plaster wall,but if it's not correctly secured (the important bit behind the plaster) then you're going to end up sweeping up your screen...Right, that to one side, and assuming that you've picked a suitable wall / structure; then you're onto a winner.Personally, I found there to be little fuss in getting everything set out, measured, level and installed (other than an extra pair of hands for mounting the screen).There's a reasonable range in the mount as well (not just the 15 degree of tilt, but in the size / type of mounts that it'll take). I made a couple of rubber packers, just to make sure that my TV (a LG panel) was truly secure.It might have been nice to have a means of hiding cables, but that's not a deal breaker. Again, more expensive (and complicated) systems might offer this, but what you've got here is a well made, and very functional, bracket.

I brought this product last week after looking at several TV wall brackets on Amazon. I'm glad I went for this Vogel wall bracket as it is a brilliant little design, simple but very sturdy. The bracket was really easy to install following the instructions provided by Vogel. The best bit was the augmented reality app that helps you drill the holes in the right place on the wall as I have always had difficulty getting this right with other brackets. Vogel have gone that extra bit further and made the whole process a lot more easier buy using the latest of technologies available. The bracket design itself is very solid and and it has a neat release feature,whereby you just pull a core at the bottom to release the latch for when you need to take the TV off the wall. A couple of really great design features, and I will definitely be buying more Vogel products based on this experience.

I fully appreciate German engineering. Easy to install. I am a keen do it yourself geek so had no problem fitting with or without instruction. However the TV set listed on the database was not the same configuration. This resulted in using the smaller spacers to allow the set to come away from the wall. This allowed the power cable to pass comfortably down and into a flat plastic channel 50mm x 25 mm which I wallpapered over. Rather than cut the release straps to hide the ends I tucked them into the cable channel. These release straps can be hooked out in the future if we wanted to remove the set for decoration. Some good tips here guys.

A good piece of engineering, solid and easy to install. I particularly liked the easy release cord and mechanism which made the tv easy to remove and resit when I organised the cabling behind the tv. If I had one slight criticism it would be the lack of choice on the bolts and spacers. I needed 20mm M8’s for a 32” Samsung TV which I couldn’t achieve with the bolts and spacers with the unit, luckily I had some spacers from a previous (but far more expensive) unit and managed to fit the tv to the bracket. I would buy this unit again and recommend it to anyone, just check what fixings you need for your TV though.

Did a lot of research before deciding on buying this product. Bought for my LG E7N I needed a TV wall mount that would be solid, low profile and get my tv as flush to the wall as possible.This tv wall mount has ticked all the boxes and at just under £60 was reasonably priced as well.For ease of installing, cost and being extremely slimline I’ve rated this as 5 star. Thoroughly recommend the product!

Have fitted over a dozen tv’s now & this mount was the easiest. Very full instructions, loads of nicely packaged fittings, along with an app that allows you to position the tv without fitting it, amazing ! Only negative is the brackets have only one position on the tv, but no big deal hence the app. Bit dearer than some, but worth it.

We needed a tilting bracket for a high tv in bedroom. Most have only up to 10 degrees of tilt but this Vogel 3115 has up to 16dgrees and that is perfect for us. Not easy for a 80 yr old to fit, and, inspite of downloading an iPad app, the instructions were difficult to follow. If you are not into DIY don't attempt to fit yourself!

Easy to fit and comes with all necessary fixing, looks great and gives a tight fit against the wall, only downside is that it has a small amount of movement when fitted which means the tv can easily move from level to off level on either side.. I did however buy another one for another tv because of price and aesthetics

Easiest tv mount by miles! Also super easy to get the TV off again, if needs be.Cannot fault Vogel’s quality - have used their projector mounts too. When you are mounting expensive kit to a surface where gravity says you shouldn’t, do not skimp on then it’s you use.

Excellent piece of kit. Easy to fix and install. You may need to use the spacers provided to ensure that there is sufficient space for the power plug into the rear of your TV.

Solid product that was very easy to fit. TV just slipped on and locked in place.Quick release clips make it easier to get to the back of the TV.
