I have an old and reliable TPS-2 (Blackburn, blackburndesign.com) pump that I could not use anymore due to the pump head requiring a screwing of the pumphead onto the stem...I have arthritis in my hands and it is just too painful to attempt that fine motor motion. It never fazed me in years past.I was looking for an exact replacement from screw type to flip lever type to no avail. The last thing I wanted was to cut the hose and add another length of hose. An ideal fix would have had the Park tool pump rebuild kit fit the hose exactly. No such luck - by the way, the size of the Park Tool pump head is superb for those of us with arthritic hands!

I had the JoeBlow Sport floor pump that came with the original pump head. The one where you used one side for Presta and the other side for Schrader valves. After owning the pump for 3-5 years, it became hard to secure the head on properly and get an accurate read on the pressure.This upgrade solved everything ... It was fairly easy to install with the instructions. I also like how it will work with both Presta and Schrader without having to change any pieces or flip it over ... Both valves fit into the end of this unit and it works like a charm. The other thing that is impressive is that when you pull up on the lever to lock it onto the valve ...

I bought this because the original pump head and tube had failed. This is way better than the original. It is longer by at least 6 inches which is very convenient. It clamps better than the original on Presta style valves. These are the thinner and longer type. I had to fool with the parts a little to install this as the instructions were a bit too brief. However, I was able to do it in just a few tries and a few minutes. I was very pleased with this part as it meant I did not have to dispose of my pump and could continue to use it. I highly recommend this product.

I installed this on my Topeak Joe Blow Sport pump. The old double ended head finally broke, and I debated about simply buying a new pump vs fixing this old one. Fixing the old one was the right decision. I love the single head for Presta and Schraeder valves. It is much easier to put on the valve stem, and it works much better than the double sided old head. The new hose is about a foot longer than the original hose, so I don't have to put the valve stem at ground level any more. Buy it. You won't regret it.

I have a standard floor pump and the head was just wearing out after 9 years, I was hesitant when other reviews suggested fit might be a problem. I simply unscrewed the pressure gauge so I had plenty of working room. the old hose scewed off and the threads on the new hose fit perfect. More important the tubing was better and about 14 inch longer. Think I can inflate with the valve at 12:00 or 6:00 o'clock I used nylon tape on the threads No leaks and the head is more substantive than my old head.

The original TwinHead I had broke. I saw this SmartHead and decided to go with that as a replacement. I works fine, with one oddity. There's a lever on the SmartHead that locks it onto the valve stem. You'd think you pull the lever up, place the Twin Head on the valve stem and then push the lever down to lock it on the valve stem. But it's just the opposite. Which seems non-intuitive to me. Which is why you should read product instructions! Which I eventually did. :-)

I was able to take off the end that attaches to the tire air valve (smart head) and attach it to my old pump. I was not able to attach the other end (hose) to the air pump. I was able to put air in my tires and that is what is important. Our pump has worked for about 8 years before the "smart head" broke. We ride a lot so I think we got our moneys worth out of the original pump.

I purchased this SmartHead to create my own custom compressor attachment, and it was perfect for the project. The SmartHead itself is pretty heavy - but that means it doesn't feel cheap like some no-mane pump heads, and it feels high quality. Having the compatibility to inflate both Presta and Schraeder valves without having to configure any adapters cuts down on time and prep.

High quality construction, including a generous 40-inch (100 cm) length of hose, which looks like it should hold up over time. The material is not specified, but I hope it's neoprene or some other oil-resistant material. Comes with various fittings for at least 5 different ways to attach it to your existing pump. My only regret is not finding it sooner.

After about 30 years, the head attachment to the tire valve on my ToPeak Bike Pump finally failed. I think that's a pretty good run for practically anything mechanical. This replacement hose and head attachment was easy to put on my existing pump and now i have a perfectly functioning pump again without having to buy a whole new pump.

I was able to get this to fit onto my existing Joe Blow floor pump quickly--it was common sense to me but there were a bunch of small fittings and so it does take some technical background. It seals well to presta valves--it doesn't feel like it's on tight, but I have been able to pump tires to 100+ psi without the head flying off.

Unlike my previous purchase, this product seals to Presta valve stems, allowing tires to be inflated to 100psi, in my case.Had to pry the end off the original hose to allow the new one to attach to the Diamondback floor pump. The Option 4, supplied with the pump almost worked, but was ~2mm too small (diameter).

This simple attachment transformed my aging (and very prone to damaging my Presta valves) Schwinn floor pump into an amazing tool, capable of pumping my road tires from 60 to 100 psi in only 3 strokes.Installation was simple, use is silly elegant.Needless to say, I'm thrilled with the product!

I got this to replace the head of a Schwinn pump I've had for 10 years. I cut off the old end and crimped this one in its place. The extra hose allowed me to extend the reach of my pump. I also love that this auto adjusts to both presta and schrader valves. Quality product.

This kit had everything I required to replace my worn pump head. It works much better than the original and fits either type of valve stem without changing anything. I simply pulled off the old hose and installed the new assembly. I highly recommend this product.
