I have both the Road Morph Mini and Road Morph G and both are the only pumps I've really found effective for reinflating inner tubes at the roadside. I've used many others, many of which have been cheaper and more compact but I've always found them very hard work, pumping to the point of exhaustion and still having a soft tyre whereas these are effective and they work.Unlike most other designs, these have a flat, non-slip base and a foot which extends enabling them to be used as a floor pump which means rather than relying on arm strength, body weight can be used which makes pump relatively effortless. The top forms a useful hand-lever for pumping and when not in use twists and clicks back into the pump barrel to keep it compact. Both pumps fit securely to the valve, can be used with Dunlop, Schrader or Presta valves and will inflate up to 160PSI/11-bar, although my tyres run at 3-5 bar so this is the highest I've used. I also like the extending flexible tube which easily reaches the valve without tugging at it or placing any strain on it while inflating. The main difference between the two is the size - with the Morph G being 35cm (220g) and the Mini 26.5cm (154g). The Morph G is more powerful and has a pressure gauge although, in use, it isn't actually easy to read. For anyone choosing between the two, if weight and size is an issue, eg for a folding bike or it isn't likely to be regularly used then I would opt for the Mini. If regularly used or using high-pressure tubes then I would opt for the Morph G. I am happy with both and have two of each design, one on each of my four bikes and, having performed reliably at the roadside I would choose and use no other.

The action is a little odd. You push down until the pressure builds and then the valve gives allowing you to push a bit of air in. Due to the small tube diameter, you have mechanical advantage and once the valve gives, you carry on down to the bottom to force in a little more air. This happens further and further down the stroke as the pressure increases. Not sure if it would reach 160 psi as advertised, but it does appear to reach the 115 that I need. When I pumped up the tyre from scratch, I did not want to go too far and blow something so I stopped when the tyre got reasonably hard. Checking on my Joe Blow pump, this was around 75 psi. I pumped the tyre up to 115 on the Joe Blow and then tried to put some more air in using this baby.It pushed air past the valve in the bottom 15% of the stroke only, in accordance with the laws of physics, with no leaks past any seals. Taking a tyre up to very high pressure would take a lot of strokes but then this is very small and light and the high number of strokes is the price you pay for those.Did not have any problems with the locking valve, but I made sure that I pushed it on well at the start.

The diminutive size of this portable pump, just 26cm long, belies its sheer efficiency and ease of use. It's more than a `get me home' pump, in essence it's a miniature version of a track pump, complete with flip-out foot stand and flexible hose which fits both Presta and Schrader valves. It comes with standard mounting for the bike frame which, unusually, is in the upwards position rather than to the side - a positive feature for me for it avoids inadvertently knocking the pump while pedalling. A Velcro strip secures it firmly to the holder. In use I found the ability to steady the pump, either with the flip stand or simply pushing into the ground surface, much more efficient than a two handed action. The flexible hose locks tightly onto the valve, and absorbs any movement during pumping so as to prevent air leaking from the valve. The flip out top on the handle spreads out the pressure on the palm to make it more comfortable during use.I use this for a 700 x 23c tyre where I it takes me 100 pump strokes to achieve a tyre pressure of 100psi.I wouldn't go anywhere without it

I like this pump a lot. It's compact, the handle makes things easier on the wrist, the foot hold just keeps it in place, and the tubed valve attachment means you don't have to hold the tyre at the same time as the pump while you're pumping (tho that's a little too short for my liking). Makes flats a little less annoying than when using a standard pump.I'd say it's a little too small though and therefore it takes quite a while to pump a tyre up to a high PSI....I should have gone for the bigger one (Topeak Morph) which would still be small enough to fit in my camelback but would be a lot quicker to use.

I used the Mini Morph to inflate my motorcycle tyres on a 6-month trip and it never let me down. The pump's performance is really good (i.e. it doesn't take ridiculously much effort to pump the amount of air you need into the tyre). It's ergonomically superb, allowing it to reach difficult places and giving you the freedom to stabilise it properly on any surface. That, with the combination of a very useful fold-out handle, make it easy to use. It's light, sturdy and well engineered. Highly recommended.

Have needed a good bike pump for so long as have tried many makes only to be let down by poor products time and time again.I have a Joe Blow 2 track pump which is a great pump but is too big to take on bike rides but the mini morph floor pump does the same job as the track pump but with it being so small makes it a versatile addition to any body's puncture repairs.

Love the compactness, but its ability to still easily inflate my tyres. Obviously won't do it as easily or quickly as a full size, but I think for what it is, it works awesome. The foot peg and tilt handle make working with it at higher PSI's quite nice, and it feels solidly built all around. Highly recommended.

This is a good small, lightweight bike pump. It does not at feel first overly solid but certainly does the job. It is easy to connect and stays on as you pump air in. I use it as a hand rather than foot pump and it works well.

Very good pump, only slight not good thing is that the pull out handle snaps back a bit too easily - but build quality of essential parts is great. Very happy as most others seems to fall apart.

I was recommended to buy this pump by a friend, and I haven't been dissapointed, it is very good indeed.I can thoroughly recommend it.

Great wee pump, fits in the backpack/hydration pack and absolutely no issues getting the tyres up to a good pressure.
