I'm not sure how I am the first to review this pump, there must be another listing somewhere with all the reviews. Anyway, I got totally sick of having to top up the air on my two racers as all I had was a telescopic mini pump. Now this is fine for occasional requirements, but hard work if you need to use it a lot. I thought this Topeak pump would be the answer. It definitely is! I knew Topeak was a brand used by more serious cyclists and also by bike mechanics (as my brother was one) so I thought that was a good start. I also was reassured by the metal base and the pressure gauge. This really is such a well designed pump. It has a useful catch to keep the handle in place. The handle is comfortable and the pump gives a smooth action and very quickly indeed pumps up your innertube/tyre! I can go from 0-100 psi on my racing bikes in about 20 pumps. That is seriously quick and I don't even break a sweat. With the mini pump I have to bend over in an awkward position, risk damaging the valve due to the lack of hose and pump about 80 times at least to get the same pressure. I have broken many a presta valve trying to get that sort of pressure with my mini pump.I have not had the opportunity to compare against similar models from Topeak, but for me this is well made, quick and easy to use, well designed and takes a massive amount of effort out of fixing punctures and topping up air. That was all I needed to be convinced. For what you get this is such a massive bargain, BUY IT!!I have also just ordered a "Topeak Road Morph" pump which has a little hose and pressure gauge on it. My little Zefal pump which I have had for about 15 or more years still works well, but as I mentioned, it puts stress on presta valves. As well as a pressure gauge and small hose, the Topeak Road Morph has a piece that folds out to go under your foot too so you can use it as a portable floor pump. Punctures should never be such a hassle again!

The Topeak Sprint Floor Pump is the way to go. If you think you're saving money on a cheaper pump, you aren't because those are essentially disposable. The Topeak will last, plus it's one of the only pumps you can find spare parts for... and if you can't find them, contact Topeak and they'll send you the parts! I got mine in Dec 2012 and just had my first real problem... the pressure gauge stopped working (although the pump itself kept working). Topeak sent me a replacement gauge and I'm back in business.I echo everything in Tatnai Burnett's review with the exception of his complaint on the T-type valve. I prefer this type to the all-in-one valves. If you've ever used the all-in-one type valves, you'll know that they only go on a Schrader valve a couple times before it dies and leaks air forever. With the T-type, I can use the Schrader side for my cars and the Presta for the bikes and never have an issue. The car tires (30-35psi) are cake, although spare tires (60psi) take some effort. Bike tires (100 psi) are no problem because of the volume of the pump.

The Topeak JoeBlow Sprint bike pump is a great product for its price point. I had never owned bike pump before so I read the reviews on amazon and went to see what my local bike shops had to offer. None of them had the topeak brand pumps, just some cheaper pumps that didn't impress me. I like the aluminum body and steel base on this pump. The fill valve works wonderfully on my presta-valves. This pump is easy to use, has an easy to read gauge and seems durable. It handles my high pressure needs (125psi) without any issues. It is a high pressure/low volume pump so don't expect to inflate automotive tires efficiently (it will do it, just plan on it taking a few minutes). Overall, the sprint pump is a great pump and amazon had the best price I could find. With my Amazon Prime account the shipping was free. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is because I believe 5 stars should be very difficult to achieve and is to be saved for the best of the best products. This is a very good product for its price point.

Great pump. Key aspects:1) Steal base is wide and stable.2) Pressure guage is located at top of shaft. It is easy to read as far as pump guages go.3) Pumping is effortless. I attached it to my mini-van tires, and with a good deal of pumping, was able to top off the pressure. Not more convenient than a air compressor, but definitely do-able in 5 - 10 min of pumping if you need to do it.4) Pressure guage is accurate, and includes a bleed valve so that you can release air without removing the hose from the valve.Only complaint: the T-type valve adapter is just a little bulky. It could be a problem if you need to get it into a really tight space (this problem is very unlikely for the typical user, but possible I think). A cheap valve extender from your local sports store would fix this problem if it occurs, and it may be worth the hassle to have both schrader and presta adapters permanently affixed to the pump.Definitely a good buy. Would highly recommend, and would definitely buy it again.

Really like this pump and like it even more because it was like 10 bucks cheaper than at REI (only store I could find it in). It functions very well and to me it has every feature possible. Top notch pump, but I'll be honest I'm not bike enthusiast. Recommend it to anyone who wants a high quality pump with lots of features. Supposedly it would work for a car too, so not bad. My teenager had trouble using it on his valves, but I figured out in a second it works a special way and I find it very functional how it can switch between either type of valve stem. Typically most pumps don't work well on one or the other, this one works very well on both valves.

This pump works good, however I should have bought a higher model. For 700 tires where the air pressure is greater than 80psi, it would be better to have the pump that releases the air pressure in the pump before you remove the pump from the valve stem. With this pump, you could lose a measure amount of air just disconnecting the pump from the valve stem. On mountain bikes that take 30-40 psi, this pump is great.Having said that, there isn't anything wrong with this pump and I use it every weekend before going on a ride to ensure my air pressure is correct.

Previously I owned a Park Tools Professional Track Pump - this gave up the ghost after a year or so of occasional use on my Road Bike. After much on line research I ordered the Top Peak and I am glad I did. It is light but sturdy with a very powerful pumping action, going from 60psi to 100psi in around four easy pumps. Previously my Park Tool was taking 15-20 pumps of effort (prior to it giving up completely). I understand that many bike shops use a Top Peak pump and now I understand why, what a difference - an excellent pump. Highly recommended.

I needed a good quality floor pump at a good price. I have a mtn bike, a fat tire bike, a road bike, and the wife has a bike too. I need to pump a lot of air, sometimes over 120psi. I like this pump for those needs. The gauge seams to be accurate, and the pressure relief valve is nice to dial in the exact pressure. The clip that holds the handle in place when not in use could use a redesign. The fastener has come loose many times allowing the clip to come off. I will modify it to work, but this could be better.

I've been having problems with this pump since I got it.I just went out to air my tires up to go riding and the gauge doesn't work. I wish I sent it back the first month I got itI had problems with my pump and decided to call Toepeak. They sent a new head and gauge and it's working great again. I was just about ready to throw it away and I thought I would give them a call and they came through for me.

I bought this pump for a variety of reasons, and things, and it fills all of them, easily.I love the connector, that with the flip of a lever does either schrader valves, or the valves they useon high pressure rims. The dial is big, easy to see, even with my old eyes, and the pump very fast.Great product, at a good price point. MUCH better then the cheaper alternatives I tried.

I purchased this pump to replace the Schwinn pump that I've used for about three years. I didn't like all the attachment nozzles being at the end of the hose on the Schwinn model. This is a little more work to attach the hose on small bicycle tires, but if you approach the valve with the hose at something other than a ninety-degree angle to the tire everything works fine.

Pump is great overall. The chuck is too large to fit between the spokes on my motorcycle which is a major annoyance. I use this for my bicycles, especially road bikes that require high pressure. I wish someday a company creates a better valve/chuck design....I did a LOT of research before I ordered this pump and feel it is one of the best at this price point.

I used this pump for the first time today and it worked just fine. I love the pump-handle lock (I hang the pump, when not in used) and it has two other tips, to pump up anything and everything. The pressure gauge has a dial, to set an indicator for the pressure I need, which is very handy (and the dials are yellow, so they're easy to see while standing)

I bought this pump when my old floor pump bit the dust. I assumed that I was buying more or less the same thing as I was replacing, but once I started using the JoeBlow I could immediately tell that it was far superior. The connector is easier to use, and the pumping action seems far more powerful and smooth. So far, very happy with this purchase.

Great pump, great features. I've used it for some time now, and it is still working very, very well. The gauge is still reliable (not to be taken for granted). The head works flawlessly. The air-pressure release saves wear on the head. The handle hook is a great convenience for carrying the pump. All in all, I couldn't be happier.
