This is an excellent bit of kit - I use primarily for inflating bike tyres (commuter and club cyclist) but this pump does come with various other adapters as referenced in the product info. Having lived with a fellow cyclist that owned an older model of this pump for several years, it was a complete no-brainer to pick one up for myself when he moved out. His model lasted him about ten years (still going strong for all I know) and my new one seems just as robust and well made - I've been using regularly for a couple of months now without fault.Pressure gauge is responsive, consistent, and would seem to be accurate - though admittedly I haven't compared measurements with other branded pumps in the same price bracket.Easy to attach/detach from valves, and the hose is a respectable length. Quick and effortless to inflate to required level (for me generally anywhere between 80 and 120 PSI) whether you are just topping up or inflating from flat.Possibly not as aesthetically pleasing as some other pumps on the market (depending on your taste) but this didn't feature particularly highly on my list of requirements - at least in bright yellow you won't lose it! The price might also initially appear a little steep in comparison to other floor pumps, but based on Topeak's excellent reputation and my previous experience with this pump it's one I'm willing to pay for a reliable and effective product that will last for ages. If your needs are similar then I doubt you will regret picking up one of these...

Never thought I would find myself getting excited over a footpump but damn this is good. It has both Schrader (car type) and Presta valve connections, that was my main reason for buying it along with price as it is to replace my old floor pump that has just the Schrader valve.Selecting which connection you need is easy, you simply switch the connector from one side to the other depending on which type you need. The gauge is large and clear with readings in both BAR and PSI and what was most impressive, the construction is metal including the foot plate, compared to my other floor pump this one feels like it is on steroids. The over sized handles along with the solid build nature of this pump means operation is quick and simple. In under 7 easy pumps you can reach a pressure of 100psi. I tested the actual pressure reading when I had finished with a tyre pressure gauge and it was spot on to what the cycle pumps gauge had reported.I noticed a few questions asking if this pump could be used on car tyres, YES it can

Edit to review:-My original review is from 2015. We are now approaching the end of 2020, and I am still using this pump. Nothing has gone wrong with it at all. For reference it is used often in summer but seldom in winter.Original review:-Cracking bit of kit this.Having never owned a proper pump before, and relying on a tiny mobile hand pump attached to my bike frame, this floor pump is everything I wanted. From flat it pumped up my mountain bike tyre to 45 psi in about 10 seconds, no effort, no drama. The gauge seems accurate and is easy to read.I'll definitely be taking this with me on bike rides in the future to check my tyres before I set off.At least I'll know my tyres are set exactly how I want them before I start the trail. It comes with a couple of adaptors as well, so seems suitable for all bike tyres, footballs and blow up mattresses. It's a bit plasticky and seems a little flimsy, but time will tell on that score.I'm very happy with it so far...

Searching for a good quality floor pump for my road bike, I read a very positive review about the Topeak on road.cc. Other websites have also commended this pump for it's high quality and reliability. Based on these reviews (and suggestions from fellow cyclists) I purchased this pump and have not been disappointed. It is made to a very high standard and works very well. Putting air into my tyres is quick and easy with the included nozzle and takes just seconds. Much, much quicker than the portable hand pump I was using before this. Having been very impressed with this pump, I can highly recommend it to other cyclists. It does cost a little more than other pumps, but is well worth the investment.5/5

Having been recommended this product by several colleagues who know a lot more about bike stuff than me I purchased it when it dropped in price. I am extremely impressed by the quality of the pump, the metal construction feels solid and my colleagues have said that theirs have lasted years. The gauge on the pump seems very accurate, which wasn't the case with my previous cheap pump. This pump makes very light work of getting the tyres on my road bike to over 100psi. The price of this pump is also great compared to other high quality pumps which can be much more expensive so I would definitely recommend it!

This is a sturdy pump that is very efficient and requires a relatively small number of pump actions to get the tyre to the required pressure. The pressure gauge is accurate and very clear. Overall, this is a very good pump. There is only one criticism, however; the adaptor that fits over the valve has two valve ports; a Presta valve port and a Schrader valve port. After fitting the adaptor over the relevant valve type, a lever has to be turned 45 degrees to block off the valve port that is not being used. The lever is rather stiff to operate and might cause difficulties for some ladies to use.

I now have my manual tyre pump. I bought this elsewhere, as a replacement to the faulty pump i bought on here, that didn't work when I received it.After doing my research, I'm happy to say this pump is truly brilliant, its well made, heavy sturdy with easy to read dial thanks to the help of the yellow arrow pin, that let's you know when you've pumped to the right desired level. I've wanted a manual pump for many years to pump my car tyres, and this does the job really well, and it doesn't take alot of work to get the job done. I keep my pump in the boot of my car. ?

One of the better track pumps I’ve used. Has a metal foot plate though both sides are too short to use both feet at once, not that's a particular problem. The chuck is right angled & double-sided with the black valve being Schrader & the grey being Presta. Haven't used the Schrader but the Presta works perfectly. The robust metal sealing lever works fine. As for pressure, the gauge goes up to 11 bar/160psi. The rubberised hose is 1m long & there are a couple of ball inflators. If it had a convertible in-line chuck, I'd give it 5 stars.

I use this weekly to check and inflate the tyres on my bike, and periodically to do the tyres on the two cars. Easy and comfortable to use and remarkably quick, even on a car tyre. I wouldn't waste money buying an electric inflator. It has two ends to suit the two different types of valve and nothing has to be taken off so you can't lose anything. I saw that they use these in our local bike shop and chose this over other, cheaper ones. Very pleased, and I expect it to last me years.

If you have a road bike, you need this pump. Small pumps just can't do the job, this can get 700 to 100psi in 6 strokes. No mashing your hands and really quick. I let all my tyres down and re-inflated with this and it was really easy. Makes a real difference having right pressure tyres and you can use this to get the pressures you want, all the way to 160 psi (I stick to 100psi for 700cc on 23 tyres.)Little bit of hiss on release of the valve , otherwise 100%

If you've got bikes then get a track pump. This is a good quality, good value option which inflates rapidly and achieves high pressures. The gauge is very accurate and easy to read. I also use it to top the car tyres up due to the decent volume it puts out and the accuracy of the gauge. The head is simply excellent and there's no messing about swapping bits round to go from schraeder to presta and vice versa.

I had an older version of the Joe Blow pump and this one seems more sturdy. The only thing I have noticed with this one and the old one is the pump's gauge usually reads about 10 psi more than what is actually in the tire. Not really a big deal. Smooth action with fewer repetitions. Great pump for the price! I took advantage of a free shipping deal. I recommend this product.

A great purchase, impressed with quality and sturdiness. Now use this in place of electric pump as it's so convenient and efficient. Also good for cars as it pumps so much air. Good pressure guage, but best is the valve connector, double sided for both sizes of typical valves with locking lever, very easy on and off and just does the job perfectly.

I have had this pump for over a month now, and I have used it almost every day before riding my bike. I have had several other pumps, and this one works the best. The valve design is what makes this pump so good. It locks on easily to the tube valve and when I release it, I know that no air escapes from the tube. I am very happy with this pump.
